I sit up when I hear the main stories come up.
I told all my friends that morning about the articles online so when the headline of me and Nick came up they all texted me in all caps, which made me more anxious. I began to tap on my phone and Nick took it from me and held my hand till the segment known as "So True So False" came up.
"Here it goes" he said
"Does Nick Jonas have a new love interest? So True! A month ago Nick was spotted walking a brunette to the Milford plaza in New York *picture of us surrounded by bodyguards* where sources say they kept close and to themselves fans even spotted her at his Broadway show, and it wasn't till yesterday that pictures surfaced *us shopping at river center* of him and the same mystery girl hand in hand in outside a mall in San Antonio, Texas. He even sported a new haircut. Looks like the youngest Jonas has caught the love bug once more."
I look over to Nick and laugh covering my face with our hands.
"That was actually pretty good" he said smiling
"I'm not even brunette!" I giggle "You think they'll figure out my name by tomorrow?"
"Maybe" he had his phone in his hand and I was sure he was tweeting
"Well back to reality" I say standing up from the bed "c'mon lets go eat"
He doesn't say anything and gets up fixing his shirt; finally handing me my phone. I always loved what he wore; today I suppose he tried to keep it casual in simple grey short sleeve t-shirt (that showed all his muscles), jeans, and converse. Before we left downstairs he gave me a quick kiss and we went to have dinner that my mom prepared. It was interesting to see Nick eat with me and my family but also felt perfect.
I was about to go upstairs before I saw my brothers and Nick talking.
"I'll drive us all" I heard Nick telling my brothers when I reached them "I mean we all fit and that way we don't take too many vehicles."
"Sounds great" I say
Nobody objected and we made the quick five minute drive to our church. When we got there I told everyone to go ahead and they didn't mind and left inside. Nick went over to my side of the truck and opened my door as he frequent.
"What's wrong" he says closing the door and leaning me against the truck
"Nothing, I'm actually really happy" I smile at him "I never thought I'd bring anybody to church with me"
"Well then let's get in there then" he says kissing me
I grab his hand and hold him close to my side as we walk up to the gym. He opens the door for me and as the door slams behind us, all eyes were on us. I swear you could hear a pin fall and I went over with Nick to where my siblings stood with the youth directors.
"Hey" I say to them "I brought a guest this week"
They all smile and shake his hand and kiss him on the cheek
"Our sister brought her boyfriend" my older brother said
I blush a deep red and Nick smiled "very nice to meet all of you"
"Carolina wow" I hear people say
And with that i braced myself for the long evening.
