Joe had finally asked my sister to be his girlfriend and a part of me was so happy but confused as well; where they really ready to date? Who knows but wished them the best.
We were a days from Nicks birthday and I've been super busy in LA, well not really the guys were the ones busy working on the album and I was more than willing to be at the every recording of the album but Nick said I was only getting bored. I was more than thrilled to tell the truth.
This weekend was actually the VMAs so I couldn't be more excited. I had skyped with my friends from One Direction and the guys wanted to hang out before or after the show.
"Go ahead babe"
"Really?"
"Yeah, me and Joe are actually going to an after party as well" he sighed "just take Jeremy with you"
I shake my head because ever since he has noticed hate on twitter and tumblr he got me my own bodyguard which I found ridiculous when half the time he goes out alone.
"Alright but they boys have Paul also"
"Yeah and three other bodyguards, please understand that you will be followed around more with those guys around babe"
"I know" I sigh "I love you"
"Love you too" he said kissing me softly
I smiled and went to the kitchen of Joe's house in LA which was spectacular! My phone then rang and it was Liam (who by the way was the only 1D member who had my number).
"LIAMMM" I smiled
"Caroline! How are you love?"
"Great, but why are you calling VMAs aren't in a few more days"
"I know but we arrived here in LA early to record and do some rehearsals of our performance"
"No way that's pretty neat"
"Come hang out!" he said right away "Danielle and Eleanor are here as well and would love some company from a new person" I could hear all the guys complain
I giggle and notice that Nick was now in the kitchen looking for something in the fridge.
"Well... alright but what did you all have in mind?"
"We are actually on our way to the Staples Center to rehearse, join us?" I hear Niall say at the end of the line instead of Liam
"Niii ugh ok, I'll try to meet you there in half an hour!"
"Great see you here love" he says hanging up
"Your friends?" Nick asks
"Yes and they want me to see them rehearse or something"
"Sounds fun"
"It does"
"Go! Jeremy is ready whenever you are"
"Why don't you come too?"
"I'm busy working"
"But that's what you said last time and the guys said they'd love a word with you"
"How about I drop you off and then I leave, Joe just texted me about lunch"
"Fine" I roll my eyes playfully
Sometimes Nick seemed way too old for his age but that's yet another thing I love about him.

There were so many people around the Staples Center including paparazzi. I hated that I looked so casual in a blue sheer shirt and high waist shorts and Nick looked freaking amazing in a grey polo, jeans. Oddly enough the boys were signing autographs when we got there and they all looked so different from the last time I saw them.
