Back to school, and dads permision.

The next day
"Ok I'm off." I said to my parents as I opened the door. "Bye honey. Say hi to todoroki and Momo for me." My mom said. "I will." I smiled and opened the door. I saw Todoroki and Momo standing there waiting for me. "Or you can say to them yourself." I said to my mom. She came to the door. "Oh hey you two." My mom said. Momo gave her a smile and todoroki gave her to container back. "Oh thanks." She then went to put it in the sink. "Hey." Todoroki said giving me a fist bump. "You ready to get back to school?" Momo asked. I shrugged. "Ya." My mom then came bag with a plastic bag. "There's two for each of you in here. They're the last ones." Todoroki was gonna take the bag but I took it. "I'm making sure that you don't eat them all." I said. He gave me the stink eye and then patted my shoulder. "Fine. But I can control myself you know." He said I looked at him again. "Ok bye mom." I said she gave me a hug and the three of us left.

When we got to school we headed to class and waited for class to start and overheard the rest of the class talk about the news. I was looking at my phone, and Mina came up to me. "Hey Y/N." She said I looked at her. "Hey Mina. What's up?" I asked. She kind of blushed. "Um..... would you be willing to maybe...... go out on a date with me?" She asked. My eyes widened. Where did this come from. I mean if she likes me then she likes me. And she pretty cute. I don't know her to well, so I mean I can use this as an opportunity to get to know her. Although this is super sudden, but I'm not gonna complain. I looked at her and she was Fiddling with her fingers. And I could see that Todoroki was sort of listening in, and I could see him motion to answer. I looked back at Mina. "Ya, sure. When do you wanna do out?" I asked her. Her face lit up with excitement. "Um, well how about you give me your number and we can talk about it later?" She said. I nodded. She took out her phone and I gave her my number.

"Thanks Y/N." She said then giving my a side hug. She smells really nice. I kinda hugged her back and then the door opened. Mr. Aizawa was standing there covered with bandages. "Morning class." He said kinda muffled. Everyone gasped. "Mr. Aizawa what are you going here?" We all asked.

Some of them asked how he was. "My well being is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet." He said. What does me mean? "The UA sports festival is about to start." Oh.

Some of the other kids where pretty pumped for it. "Let's go kick some ass!" Kirishima yelled, until Kaminari pushed his face to shut him up. "Wait a second."

"Is it really a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jiro asked.

"They could attack once where all in the same place." Ojiro said. That does make some since, but I don't think they would do that. "Apparently the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer that ever. Plus they are going to be beefing up security compared to past years." Mr Aizawa went on the say that we can't just cancel because of a few villains. He then explained that the sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world, and how in the past the Olympics where the main thing but then quirks happened.

"That's right and top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is where you get scouted." Momo said. Mr. Aizawa said that the festival is one of the best ways to get experience and popularity. "That means you better not slack off on your training." He then said. "Yes sir." We all said and the class was dismissed.

At lunchtime.
Some of the students stayed in the classroom to talk, and I brought out the bag of cookies and gave Momo and Todoroki one. We where listening in on a conversation. "Ugh, your so lucky shoji. People are bound to notice your unique quirk." Kaminari said. "Sure, but what matters is that I show them how useful I can be." I took a bite of my cookies and thought. My quirk is very versatile. But I know that I can use it better. I'm pretty sure that I could make my own custom DNA strand. I could make a hybrid, but I think I would have to ask dad about that. Todoroki then turned to me. "What you thinking about?" He asked. I turned to him. I finished my cookie. "Well... I was thinking that I can do more with my quirk, but I'm not sure if I should. I should maybe ask my dad." I said. Kaminari looked at me. "Why ask your dad? I mean if you feel like you can do it then do it." He said. "And how well has that worked for you?" I asked jokingly. He looked kinda pissed that I said that and jiro was trying to keep her self form rolling on the floor. "The reason I say that is because my quirk is very versatile. I could possibly bring a dinosaur back to life." Kaminari looked shocked. "Really?!" He asked I nodded. "And since my quirk is involved with DNA, I was thinking about maybe creating my own custom DNA strand. I would just have to think what I would want." Momo looked at me. "What do you mean?" She asked. I began to explain further, and Mina started to listen in. "Ok let's say that I wanted to be as strong as a TRex, but I also wanted to be as protected as a Ankylosuar. I don't want to have to switch in between each Strand. I might need many different features from different animals to fight." They seemed kind of confused but nodded.

"Well, why not just do it?" Jiro asked. I looked at her. "Because I haven't done it before, and it could cause some defects. So I mean two weeks seems like long enough to experiment a little with that, so I could possibly master it." We then felt a weird Ora. 

"Deku! Iida!" We heard uraraka say. "Let's do our best in the sports festival." She said with a purple firey glow around her.

After that we went to the cafeteria where I decided to text my dad.

[Mr. DNA] Hey dad can I ask you a question?
[Dad] Sure what's up?
[Mr.DNA] So the sports festival is starting in a few weeks and the class will be training, and since I'm gonna be scouted I want to be able to show everything I can do, or try everything I can do.
[Dad] Ok, so what is it you want to ask me.
[Mr. DNA] So I was thinking that I could possibly maybe make a hybrid. It would kind of be using my quirk to the fullest. I just wanted to see how you felt about that?
[Dad] Oh, well. What do you think about it?

Really dad.

[Mr. DNA] Well, I don't want to have to switch back and forth from different dinosaurs just so I can attack and then defend. So being able to combine traits would be helpful in battle. And also I mean being a hero isn't just fighting villains. I also want to help out the community. So being able to do that would be a big help.
[Dad] Ok. Well I think that is a good answer. I trust your judgment. And with that in mind, maybe we can talk about making a pet velociraptor.

I almost choked on my food. "You ok?" Momo asked. I nodded.

[Mr. DNA] Ok. I love you and thanks. I'll let you know if I need help.
[Dad] Ok. See you after school. Love you too.

I put my phone away and continued eating. "What was that?" They asked. I swallowed my food. "Um, I'm gonna keep it confidential for now." They shrugged and went back to eating. After lunch after I was leaving the bathroom, All Might came to me and wanted to talk. So we went to a room where he was able to deflate. "I wanted to talk to you about..." he gestured to his skinny form. "Ok." I said he then said. "And about the power that I passed down to Midoriya."I nodded.

He then began. "Around 6 years ago now I was in a big fight that most of the world has never heard of. During the fight the villain punctured my stomach." He unbuttoned his short and shows my the scar. "Holy crap." I said covering my mouth. He nodded, and re-buttoned his shirt. "After that is when I could only looked like All Might for a few hours a day." I nodded. "So was Midoriya quirkless before you gave him the power?" All Might nodded. I looked down. Now it makes sense. Bakugou bullying him, asking him how he threw the ball. It makes sense now. Well I honestly don't mind. I would have totally been friends with Midoriya even if he was quirkless. "So what is the power called?" I asked looking back up again. "The name of the power is "One for All". The power is passed down and gets stronger with every time it's passed. It is a unique quirk and is very old." I nodded. "Is there an origin?" I asked. All might sighed. "Yes, but I'd want to tell you and Midoriya at the same time. I will let you know when I am ready to." I nodded and stood up. "Thanks for telling me. I will keep this to myself." I said and bowed. I then went to leave the room. "L/N" I turned to all Might. He came up to me and gave me a picture. "Your parents had this taken when you were 2. And they wanted me to hold on to the picture, so now I'm gonna give it to you." He said holding a picture. I took it and looked at it.

It had Me, My mom, My dad, All Might, and another man and a girl with us. "Who are those others?" I asked. All Might gave me a smile. "You'll find out eventually." I smiled at the picture and left the room.

I went back to the class room and then the rest of the day went on. When leaving school i walked with Midoriya for a little bit. I asked him about being quirkless. He was kind of hesitant to talk about it but in the end he said that it was hard. And there were points where he was losing hope, but he kept of believing in himself. We traded numbers, and then we each went home.

(I hope that this chapter was good. I have been kind of planning if  Y/N becoming the Indominus Rex, or the indoraptor. And if your confused about the sudden pet Dino talk, it is kind of simple. The next chapter will be sometime in the two weeks before the festival. Anyway have a good rest of your day.)
