Life always finds away. (MHA x reader)

Y/N's Plan. Phase 1: journey to the Island.

One a small boat heading from the shore to Captain Ramius's sub. Y/N sat. He had his civilian clothes on, and his suit underneath. He looked back to the air base. Knowing it would be a little while until he saw it again. "Nervous?" The navy man piloting the boat asked. "I guess you could say that." Y/N said with sea spray hitting his face. "Everything's gonna be okay." The officer said. "I didnt get your name." Y/N said. "Tony. Corporal tony." Tony said. "Nice to meet you tony." I said. "It's nice to meet you too." He replied.

we got to the sub, and got on the Deck. "Sir." Tony said saluting captain ramius. "Thank you tony. Y/N, a word?" Ramius asked. Y/N walked with him to the other side of the deck. "This plan of yours. It's a little risky." Ramius said. "I understand that sir. But, I just want to see it for myself. If there is anything work saving." Y/N said. Ramius nodded. "I've been on this vessel for nearly 15 years. And in the Navy for almost 40." Ramius started. "It will be a pleasure having you on board." He said handing me something. It was a coin. "These are given to crew members as a show of membership, and devotion." He said, and i looked at the coin. I had an American eagle on one side, and a mosasaur on the other. "For you it's a show of faith, and respect. Today you are one of us." He said. "Let's get underway." He said.

Going down, the hatch into the belly of the sub. I followed the captain down. "Last man down, hatch secure." I heard. "Captain in control." Another crewman said. "Tony will show you to your quarters." The captain said. I followed tony. The subs hallways were kinda thin. And felt like a maze. "Here you go." Tony said, gesturing to my sleeping area. "Thank you tony." I said. I looked on the bed, to my backpack. "The captain got you a unifrom. Mandatory for all crew members." Tony said. "Thank you tony." I said, and he walked off and closed the door. I sighed, and began to take off my clothes.

Y/N came out of his quarters. With his Navy unifrom. It had a name tag on it, and symbols of rank on the collar. Tony met him. "This way." Tony said, taking him to the bridge. Once I got on the bridge, the Captain saw me and Nodded. "Awaiting your orders captain." One of the sailors said. Ramius picked up the radio to talk to the entire ship. "Warship Alaska, this is your captain speaking." He said. "Now you all know that we've been posted along the Japanese coast for a few months. And there's a reason. Some of you may have an idea as to why. That reason is on board with us today. Not a guest, but another crewman." Ramius said. "Now, he will have been the first person to have been a part of this crew. To have a quirk." Ramius said. My gut clenched. I felt so many eyes on me. And i didnt know how to respond. "But, i want him to give some words on himself. And our objective." Ramius said, gesturing me over.

I gulped, glancing around the room at the other sailors in the room. I slowly walked up to the helm, and took the communicator. What do i say? "Hey kid." I heard tony. "Don't be shy." He said. Ramius patted my shoulder. I regained a bit of posture. "Warship Alaska, it's a pleasure speaking to you all. It's a surprise to know I'm the only person who has a quirk on board, and I want to make something clear. I am not a god. I am not invincible. I, like every one of you am not immune to the Human condition. So, like many of you, have chosen a path to protect my home. My family. My friends. Every one of you has someone who helps drive you to stay in the sub." I said. I took a breath. "That might sound hard to believe, given Im the son of the ex- Lost scientists." I said. A couple of the people in the room finally realized who I was. "The objective, is to get me to the "la Cinco Muertes" island chain. From there, I will be going onto these islands. From my understanding, warship Alaska will be an exit route, and artillery if need be. So... all i ask is that I can get along with you. Get to know you. Because I'm scared shitless on what's on those islands. And I dont want to be alone the whole time." I said. I was feeling a little distressed, fully getting my feelings on this out.

Ramius came up next to me. "You heard the lad. Now, let's be heroes for the hero in training." Ramius said. I nodded. He put up the comms device. "You okay lad?" He asked. "I will be." I said. "Hey kid?" One of the sailors said. "We got your back." He said. I nodded. "Okay. Let's get this ship underway." Ramius said.
