Y/Ns plan: Final push.

Over night, some plans changed. Ramius took command of things at Peña. Maple, and O'Brien both began to head towards Maurta and Matenceros. The venture would take a couple hours. Since each island are dozens of miles apart. Peña, and Tacano being the closest. They would start at Matenceros. Trading shifts of duty on the ships, and resting the crew when they could. Making the operation much more effective and efficient.

I woke up to the small, but comfy air to my cockpit. I rolled over, and sat up. Rubbing my face with a yawn. I looked out to see he Maple, and O'Brien gone from the coast. I looked at the time. It had only been about 4 hours. I opened my cock pit, to the early morning dew. And the smell of the ocean breeze. I walked over to the operation tent that was set up. "Where's the O'Brien, and Maple?" I asked, reaching for the coffee and the mugs. "Some plans changed. They left about an hour after you went to sleep. It was going to take a few hours to reach the other islands, so we capitalized on it." A crew member from the sub said. I nodded. Looking out into the horizon. The moon on its decent to the depths. The coffee, the tent. It almost felt like camping, in a weird way.

I took a sip of my drink. And looked to the control tower to my left a few hundred yards. The lights were on, and multiple people with skill on hacking, and retrieving data were moving in and out of the building. "How's it feel? To be off the sub?"  I asked. "Well, I didn't want to be in the army. But, here we are. We're lucky that the O'Brien was able to grab some things on short notice." The man said. "Yeah. Im sorry you have to go out of your field, and comfort." I said, kicking a rock. The man looked at me. "Well, if I'm being honest. It's nice to be out here. On land. And, being out in the early morning like this. It's almost a camping vibe." He said. "My thoughts exactly." He replied.

"Well, what about you? You're a UA student. Out here on an island with the US navy, doing army esc operations?" The man asked. "Well. Yeah. It's definitely weird. A UA student with Air Force training, doing army esc operations with the US navy. It's about as interesting as you can get." I said, taking a sip. "I hope you'll be okay. With transitioning back to school after all this." The man said. "Yeah. Well, I mean. It's gonna be weird. Coming back to school where only a handful of people know what I was doing. It's gonna be weird. But, im hoping that after this. Ingen can make the right decisions." I said. "Well.. not to be rude. But isnt all of this, because of ingen?" The man asked. "Unfortunately, yes. Yes it is." I said looking into my coffee.

"The arrogance of man, to think that they could bring back these creatures and control them. To "Play god" if you will. But now, in a world where some people are gods. This meddling with genetic power seems almost pale in comparison to well, someone like All Might. It almost feels tame in a world riddled with crime, in a world, Where mindless beings can be made to take on our symbol of peace." I said. I sighed. "If they knew. That the world would become such a place, then they probably would've reconsidered. At the possible horrors that could happen." I said. "Ingen is to blame. The CEO knows that, and he bares that blame everyday. He bares the blame of making a high school student, go through all of this. And be bares the blame, of knowing that his family could've done more. But didnt." I said.

He nodded. "Im, sorry." He said. "To know the mistakes of the past, helps us understand what do to for the future. And how to make the world a place where the same mistakes aren't made again." I said. "You sure you're not some kinda poet?" He asked. We laughed. Though, I felt like a hypocrite. Since i had a new baby Dino waiting for me at home.

"Okay. Im gonna take a leak. And get in contact with O'Brien, and maple." I said finishing my coffee.

I walked back over to jet, and hopped in. Roy turning on the coms. "This is eagle one. O'Brien, whats your situation?" I asked. "Eagle one, this is O'Brien. We are just getting ready to head to Maurta. Matenceros is under our control." I heard Sam on the other end. "Ten four." I said. "This is Maple. About ready to rock and roll, aye. How you doing there good buddy?" I heard Reynold through the comms. "Maple, im doing just swell. Ramius, you awake there?" I asked. "Eagle one, my coffee hasn't kicked in yet. But im here." I heard Ramius on the comms.
