Life always finds away. (MHA x reader)

First Date.

Two days later.
After talking with Mina we decided to have our date after school on Friday. We would go home, change, and then go on our date.

I was down stairs dressed up. Even though it was spring, and particularly warm that day, I had jeans, and some new works boots on, a flannel, and a coat. Some people would think I'm crazy, but I've worn this kind of thing in over 100 degree weather. So I'm not to bothered.

I was tying up my boots when I heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it." My dad said. He walked over to the door as I finished tying my boots. "Hello, you must be Mina." I heard him say as I was putting on my raptor claw necklace. "Hi, ya I'm Mina. I feel like I've seen you somewhere before." Once I heard her say that I froze. SHIT!! i don't know why that didn't cross my mind. Well hopefully she forgets, but if she figures it out..... "Oh, well I get that a lot." I heard my dad say. "I'm coming Mina." I said and went to the door. When she saw what I was wearing she looked surprised. "Aren't you overheating?!" She asked. I sighed. "I've worn this kind of thing in over 100 degree weather. So, not really." She looked shocked. "Anyways, you ready?" I asked her. She nodded. "Ok, we're off." I said to my parents. "Have a good one." I heard my mom say. "Stay out of love hotels." My dad said. I got red hot in the face. "Ok, bye." I said quickly walking away, with Mina laughing a little.

"Oh god, I'm sorry you had to hear that." I said to her when we got a good distance away. "No it's fine. It's kinda cute how he tease you like that." She said. I smiled. "Ya." We walked down the side walk when I felt her hand touch mine. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw her blushing. I grabbed her hand back and she smiled and blushed even harder. I smiled and we walked down to the train station.

On the train to kind of the "Downtown" area, I could tell that some people where looking at us. Mainly me and my attire. Oh buzz off. Mina was looking at her phone and I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw that she was looking up scientists. Crap. She didn't notice me looking. Then she stopped on a picture and clicked on it. "Hey doesn't that look like your dad?" She whispered. Damnit. I looked closer at the picture. "Hmmm, not really." I whispered and looked out the window. But her face looked suspicious, and I could tell that she wasn't gonna stop until she figured it out.

After we got off the train and we're in a sort of shop district we looked around. "Where do you wanna go?" I asked. She then for a second. "Lingerie shop sounds nice." She said. Really! "Why that? It's our first date and I don't really feel comfortable. Anywhere else?" I asked. "Hm, how about a cafe?" I nodded. "Sounds good."

We walked up to a cafe we found. "Bella... Goose?" We both said. We both shrugged and went in. No line. We went up to the cashier, and looked at the menu. "Hello, what can I get for you?" She asked in Japanese with a little ascent. She's from America. Oh I'm gonna mess with her. I got a little smile and Mina noticed. "Um ya, I'll have a chai tea latte." She looked so surprised. "You can speak English?" She asked, in English. "Ya, I moved here a few months ago." She started laughing. "Ok, so that's a Chai tea latte, for here or to go?" She asked. "Um, in a to go cup." She nodded and grabbed a cup. I felt a tug on my arm. Mina looked super surprised but embarrassed. "You ok?" I asked. "Um, I didn't know you could speak English. But I can't." I reassured her. "I can speak Japanese, even though I'm not that good." The cashier said in Japanese. That made Mina smile a little bit. She looked at the menu. "Um can I have a tropical smoothie." She said. The cashier nodded and grabbed another cup. "Your name?" She asked. "Ugh, Y/N." I said. She nodded and put my name on the cups. I payed for them and we went and sat down at a table. I was looking around and saw that they sold bags of coffee.

"This is nice." Mina said. "Ya it is nice." I said. We looked at each other from across the table and smiled. "Thanks for going out with me." Mina said. I grabbed her hand. "Of course." She blushed and held on to my hand tighter. What is this feeling? Am I actually falling for her? We sat there for a minute. "A Chai latte, and Tropical smoothie for Y/N." One of the other baristas said. I got up and grabbed the drinks and thanked the barista. When I got back to the table, I saw Mina had a smug smirk on her face. "What are you smiling about?" I asked, she let out a little laugh. And then she leaned in and whispered. "I'm dating the son of "the lost scientists"." She said.

My eyes widened and with out thinking I covered her mouth. I looked over and the barista wasn't looking our way. "Please be quite about that." I said and she could tell from my expression that I wasn't playing around, and that I was scared. He face relaxed a little and she sat down. I leaned in. "Sorry about that it's just, they have told me the reasons of them disappearing and I'm keeping them hidden." She looked kinda sad. "Sorry." She said in a sad tone and sat more down in her chair, and Kinda hid her face. "Hey no, It's ok. I figured that you would eventually figure it out, but not in a public space." She kinda sat back up. "Who else knows?" She asked. "Todoroki, Momo, and all of the UA staff." She looked sort of confused. "I can understand that teachers but how do todoroki and Momo know?"

"The day of the USJ attack at lunch, they asked me what my parents names where because they has said there's, and when I said there names they almost choked." She nodded. "Ok, well I'll keep it a secret. You can trust me." She said. I looked at her. "Can I?" I said, not sure if I can really. She looked a little shocked that I asked. She relaxed. "Ya. I wouldn't want to do that to you." She said sincerely. I smiled and grabbed her hand. "Thanks." And she smiled and we both blushed.

After enjoying our drinks and talking a bit more, we walked around down town a little bit before the sunset started.

After the train ride back. "Hey mom were back." I said opening the door. Mina came behind holding my hand. "Hey sport. You two get lucky?" My dad said moving his eyebrows. "Gah! DAD!!" I said, Mina was blushing and chuckling. "No, but I do want to let you know that Mina did figure out who you guys where." My dad and mom both sort of tensed up. "I'm sorry. You just looked so familiar to me that I couldn't get it off my mind." Mina said bowing. "It's ok Mina. If you can keep it a secret, we will be fine." My mom said. Mina looked up. "So what did you guys do?" My dad asked. I looked at him. "We went downtown and found a really nice cafe. I didn't get any coffee but I bought a bag to try at home." I said giving my mom the bag. "Oh great, we can try it tomorrow morning." She said. "Do you two think you'll keep going?" My dad asked. I smiled and looked at Mina. "What do you think?" I asked. She smiled and hugged my side. "I think you to raised a keeper." Mina said. My dad fist pumped and my mom smiled.

After showing the house to Mina, she left and went home. I texted Momo and Todoroki how it went and that she knows bout my parents. And that night I went to bed, impatient to see Mina tomorrow.

(Ok so, the relationship might be moving a little fast, but I like it. And "Bella Goose" is an actual cafe in the town where I live. And I asked the manager if it was ok that I put it in my book and she said it was fine. Anyway have a good day and I hope you enjoyed.)
(Edit: I got my wisdom teeth out. I'm doing good, and I'll keep writing. I have the next few days off from work so I'll be good. And in case some of you were wondering, yes I work at Bella goose. So just don't purposely seek me out if you know where it is located.)
