"She will make it."

Y/N called everyone to a meeting the next morning. Nezu looked down. "If it's what she wants. Then i wont tell her no." He said. "We will inform Melissa, INgen and I-Island. That's where the operation will be." John said. "Okay." Y/N said. Mr. Aizawa looked at him. "Go get ready." He told Y/N. Y/N slowly nodded and walked inside. "Shota." Nezu said, with Aizawa looking his way. "Yeah." Mr. Aizawa nodded.

Y/N came down, dressed in his uniform. His entire body swelling with fear, and unease. "You okay L/N? You look pale." Kirishima said as he walked out of the elevator. Bakugo, and Izuku both looked over as they began their cleaning duty's. "L/N, will be gone for a couple days. Maybe a week." Mr. Aizawa said walking in. "Again? I thought maybe you wouldn't be on any ingen stuff." Mina said. "It's not that. It's... echo." Y/N said. "What about her?" Kaminari asked. "Theres... theres an opportunity. A lot of it is confidential. But, she has taken an opportunity to have herself augmented. Muscle enchantments, genetic therapies. She could be so much stronger. And have a better chance at success as a hero." Y/N said. "Why does she need that? She's strong." Mineta said. "Yes but... shes quirkless. And a pack animal, with no pack. She's a lone wolf." Y/N said.

"The process is incredibly dangerous. The surges extremely invasive. She might not make it." Mr. Aizawa said. "Maybe it's not worth the risk then. If theres a chance you could lose her.. why go forward?" Jirou asked. "She was the one who made the decision. And i want to be there for her. When she comes through, or doesn't." Y/N said. Looking up at Mr. Aizawa. "Go pack your things. Are you brining crystal?" Mr. Aizawa asked. "It'd be best." Y/N said. "Okay. Now that you know what going on, those of you not under house arrest or going to I-island, get ready for school." Y/N sighed as everyone nodded and patted him on the shoulder. Mina hugging him. "Im sorry. That you've been through so much." She said. Y/N fluttered his eyes and hugged her back.

Y/N went out to the paddock. "You ready?" He asked in a low monotone. Echo and crystal waited as he opened the gate. Crystal had a low, sad air around her. She nudged Y/N. "Im scared to girl." He said rubbing her snout. The three went to the transport. "Slight crosswind, you're clear to go." The air traffic man said. "Thank you Sam." Y/N said, and got the transport up and slowly angled around, finding the flight path. "Roy." Y/N said as Roy took over. He pulled out his phone calling Melissa.

"Hey. We're on our way. Im bringing crystal too. Just in case..."
"I get it."

Hours later, as dusk stained the horizon. The Island came into view, deforming the calm sea. Y/N sighed as Roy landed the transport. "Okay." Y/N said getting out. He opened the side door and echoed and crystal both sniffed the air. "Welcome. We've made preparations for both of their stay." John said walking up. "The garden is free for your toiletries." He said as Crystal and echo sniffed for spots. "We will do very little tonight. Minor blood work, and get everything prepared for tomorrow." Y/N nodded. "We will make sure she makes it through." John looked Y/N in the eye. "Spared no expense?" Y/n asked. John smiled.

Getting into the ingen laboratory, crystal and echo were right behind Y/N. "We've closed areas off. So theres little stress for any of you." He led them to an area with massive cushions, and blankets. Pilled all together into a nest. "Food should be ready soon. Though..." john said. "She ate on the way. But i wanted to make sure it was 12 hours between when the operation might be." Y/N replied. John nodded.

At night after brushing his teeth Y/N came into the area, and Crystal and echo were both cuddled up in the pillow nest. Y/N smiled, and transformed into his Utah raptor. Its feathers making him feel comfy, as he walked over and curled up next to the two. Crystal moved a little bit bringing her tail around the two.

John walked by looking in. He smiled at their connection, but walled back. Wondering if this was even right anymore. Because while this is a proof of concept, this whole thing was on purposed for humans. Not dinosaurs. It must've been the wanting for echo to be able to stand with the big boys easier. But no matter what the outcome of this, and the meeting held discussing its outcome will most definitely bring up the lack of human subjects. Though maybe it might also be that we wanted to see if these augmentations will even work on a living being. In theory yes, but in practice, that what were trying to figure out.
