A stealth mission?

Two days later.

Y/N was in his room, sitting at his desk. A half drunken mug of coffee and bagel at his side. It was 9 am.
"Honey. Are you ready?" His mom asked from down the stairs. He had his uniform on. There was a faculty meeting taking place. Ingen was re establishing the relationship with UA, with having my parents attend the meeting. While they were faculty, they were also ingen. And represented them. John would meet us there. Y/N sighed, quickly finished his coffee. And left with the bagel in his hand. "Im ready." He said walking down the stairs.

They all went out to the car. They all were silent.

Once arriving at UA. The unmissable mob of the press was outside the front gate. Y/N walked up the flight of stairs that you could see the ever growing mob from. He went up. "Good morning everyone." Principal Nezu said standing at the top of the stairs. "Morning sir." My dad said. "We will be starting shortly." He said. "Will I need to join at all?" Y/N asked. "I know i asked for you to come. But, i was wanting to talk to you alone afterwards." Principal Nezu said. "Oh." Y/N replied. "It will be a little while. But i will find you when im ready. Your girls miss you." He said. Y/N nodded, and turn back down the stairs.

As he heard the door close back on the floor. He let out a breath, and got to the floor beneath. The halls and classrooms were empty. The school felt abandoned by those who pushed so much to get here in the first place. Y/N continued down to the front door, as the overlapping yells from the press got louder. Once the doors opened, and he turned to head to the innovation center. He stopped. An instant thought to go out and talk to them jolted through him. He jittered and shook the thought away, knowing it was be social suicide.

The innovation center was a far contrast to the school. The upper floor was quiet, but down below was busy. "Hey buddy." Uncle Jake said. Y/N looked around at all of the people. "What's going on?" He asked. "It's been a shit show." Jake said. Y/N walked behind him, hands in his pockets. He got to a more open space. "The US is wanting to pull ingen out of UA." Jake said. "What?" Y/N asked. "Yeah. They aren't liking the meshing of all of this. And since you brought your jets, and they're based off US tech. They are wanting to keep themselves out of this whole thing." Jake said. "Okay. But what about me? And crystal and echo? And the alliance?" Y/N asked. "I dont know buddy. John will be landing in about, 10 minutes." Jake said. Y/n noticed some people looking at him and Jake. "You wanna know why they're looking at us?" Jake asked.

"Because we're speaking Japanese." He then said. Y/N kinda took it in. "Wait.." he said. It then clicked. All of these people, are Americans. "Everyone here is American. They all are from different backgrounds, but all with ties to intelligence and American military. They are going to want to protect their citizens." Jake said. Y/N looked around, and just took it all in. "We're guessing that if john, and ingen as a company stays in japan, and keeps in alliance. The US will withdraw all of the personal its sent. Leaving us with a very little amount of people." Jake said. Y/N nodded, and walked away. Feeling his uncles gaze shift from him to what ever else he has to do. And Y/N really stated to notice it. Bags being packed. Soldiers getting ready for an immediate extraction if it comes. While some, stayed in the rooms.

He made his way down to his lab. He closed the door, and looked at it all. Was he going to lose his lab? Will crystal and echo be taken away? He turned around, and went to the elevator to the hanger. Once there, he walked through. Looking at the jets all sitting in their bays. No one was around. "Attention. Hammond is on approach. I repeat, Hammond in on approach." He heard Jake say though the intercom. He walked through to a door leading just infront of paddock wall. He exited, and felt the sun hitting him now. He saw the helicopter landing on a helipad a little ways away. The side door opened. He walked over, and could see echoing running along the fence to see who it was. She barked, and called out to Y/N. Crystals heads broke through the trees, and she too let out a call to Y/N.

"Y/N my boy. How are you? Are you okay?" John asked getting off of the helicopter. "Im okay. Mostly." Y/N said. John put his hand on Y/Ns shoulder. "Im sorry. About the camping trip." He said. "Thank you. I hear, things are a mess." Y/n said. "Oh. Well, im actually here to clear that up." He said, smiling. Y/N gave a look, with a sense of relief and hope rising up in his chest. "But. I need to go to this meeting. Will you be visiting the girls?" He asked. "Yes." Y/N said looking over. Crystal looked at him as if she has ears perked up. Her tail wagged, and she almost had smile on her face. "Go see them. They've missed you." John said and turned to go into the school.

Y/N went over to the door to the paddock. Echo and crystal were crowding it. "Back up. I know. I know. Come on. Let me through." He said opening the door, and turned around closing it. There noses pressing up against his back, sniffing him. He turned around with there snouts in his face. "Yes. Yes hi. I missed you too. Im okay." He said petting there snouts. Echos turned around, getting rubs on her back. Her favorite spot. Crystal tried licking Y/Ns face, and let out a burp in the process.Y/N coughed, and turned his head. "Damn. What have you been eating?" He asked. Wiping his face. Crystal did a little shuffle hop, and turned running through the woods. Y/N ducking from her tail. Echo stopped, and run after her.

Y/N followed them to the open area where there was another entrance to the paddock. There was teared up dirt, and grass, and the built overhang covering their sleeping areas. The two barked at each other, playing around together. Y/N sat down on a rock, watching videos on his phone. He found himself watching clips from the sports festival. His loss of control during it is still talked about quite a bit. Then his phone rang, todoroki was calling him. He looked at the two goofballs. "Hey. Take it somewhere else." He said. They both looked at him, and barked eat each other again, taking off into the woods.

Y/N answered the phone. "Hello?" He said. "Hey dude. How's you doing?" Todoroki asked. "Im okay. I guess. Im at UA right now." he replied. "Oh, what for?" "Theres a faculty meeting. Though, im really on here to talk to principal Nezu in a little bit." Y/N said. Todoroki was silent for a second. "Oh okay. Well, me and the rest of the class are here to visit izuku. Momo woke up yesterday." He said. "That's good. How's she doing?" "She's doing good." Todoroki said. Theres was an awkward pause. "Anyways. Just wanted to see if you were gonna come at all. Or if you were busy." He said. "Okay. Well, talk to you later." Y/N said. "Bye." Todoroki said quickly and hung up.

"Fuck." Todoroki said, as Kirishima walked out of the hospital. "What he'd say?" He asked. "I didnt bring it up." Todoroki said. "What? Why?" He asked. "Hes at UA. Theres a faculty meeting, and he said principal Nezu was going to talk to him soon. So.. i didnt want to risk him snitching." Todoroki said. Asuis words echoing in his head. "Well whatever. Maybe you could call him back a bit later." Kirishima said. "Maybe." Todoroki said.

"There you are." Principal Nezu said. Y/N looked back. He got off the rock, and went to door. "How are they today?" John asked. "They are happy to see me." Y/N said. He looked back to crystal making little bits of ice, and echo eating bits. "So, how'd the meeting go?" Y/N asked. "It went well. We have new intel, and a plan is being developed as we speak." Principal Nezu said. "And with ingen?" Y/N asked.

"The Military heads all have given us some grace. All personal who are here on a fixed time will be returned home. But, we are able to offer a choice. Leave, and stay as a member of the US military. Or stay, and leave the US military." John said. "That's grace. Okay." Y/N said. "Any personal who desire to stay will be given immediate discharges. But, they will be able to be hired by ingen." John said. Y/N sighed in thought. "The US will send transports to get them from the air base, or a local airport." John said.

"What was it you would like to talk to me about sir?" Y/N asked Principal Nezu. "I was going to talk to you, but your parents gave me the answer i needed." He said. "Oh. Okay." Y/N said. "Have you thought about cloning anymore dinosaurs?" John asked. "No. It was a bit of a challenge with crystal. If i did, i dont know what one to clone." Y/N said. "Very well. Have a good day." John said. Nezu nodded and walked away. Y/N stood feeling a little better about the situation.

The afternoon proved to be a short one. As the night to come, would feel endless.

(Okay. So it went not how i intended it to end. But, it does feel better. And i think the new idea o got brewing will work better. Anyway. See you guys in the next one.)
