For 2 days Y/N rested. He mainly slept. He felt like he needed it. When he wasnt sleeping. He was walking around. He found a hiking trail, and walked around. He found a cove and dipped his toes in the ocean.
When back at the docks, he ran into a few of the crew members. They were all going to some pubs. "Nah man. We're in the state now. I can't drink. Besides, i dont really think id be to into it." He said to one of the crew members. "Oh, well we were talking about something else." They said. "What's that?" Y/N asked. "You should show us your quirk." They said. "I would be happy too. But, since we're in an American state. Quirk laws apply here. And im not as familiar with the US's quirk laws." Y/N said. "Well, couldn't you get permission from someone from ingen or something?" They asked. "Hmm. I'll see what i can do." Y/N said.
He made a call to John. "What's up my boy? How's things going?" He asked. "It's going good. Um, so some of the crew members want me to show them my quirk. But we're currently in Hawaii, and im not to sure how there quirk laws work." Y/n said. "That's a good point. Well, you're a hero in training. Currently on his way to come very fortified islands with probably a lot of gun men. The US government knows Y/N. And-" "Y/N, L/N." Y/N heard. He turned around, and saw a 5 star general. "I gotta go. Bye." He said and turned around. "Good morning sir." He said, standing firm, and saluting. "I thank you for your gesture. But there's no need." The general said. "Im General Hoskins. I heard about your mission." He said. "Oh yes sir." Y/N said.
"Walk with me." He said, and i followed him. "The FBI and CIA have been keeping tabs on those islands for months. And there's some info id like to give to you." He said. "Okay. I new there'd be more to find out. How much do you guys know?" Y/N asked. "Honestly, not much more than you." He said. Y/Ns eyes widened. "What? But the FBI and CIA know almost everything going on in the world right?" Y/N asked. "Well. Lets just say, they are catching up. Quirks had hampered them for a long time. And they've bounced back good. But knowing that there are people out there who could destroy an aircraft carrier with out much effort. And Nukes aren't the best answer. So, in the US, we do spend on heroes, since we have more crime than japan. The point im getting at. It's hard for us to balance some things. We've been able to spend more time focusing on other things outside our own country with more heroes. But those islands in particular are a hard nut for us to crack." He said.
"What do you know?" I asked. "The islands came onto our radar about 90 years ago. There was a lot of movement from them. Mainly smaller ships coming from Central America, and some from South America. For about 40 years we were able to keep some track on things. Before that, we knew they held dinosaurs, and had Ingen technology. But ingen claimed responsibility for it and was gonna handle things itself. So we didnt really worry. After 40 years though, we had a report than a high school student from Spain was kidnapped. This didnt make much sense to us as to why we got the report. But, two weeks later. We couldn't track things from the islands. Satalite imaging wasnt updating. And when flying a drone near by, it was sending back odd signals and readings. Apparently, the effects we were experiencing and seeing where the same effects the student had." The general said.
"Getting more information on her quirk. She had a quirk that allowed her body to width stand extreme pressure. Like the kind you'd get from going down to the titanic. But, she was an excellent technical genius. She had made a project for school about a sort of cloaking device. It acted like a fog, it affected all forms of technology that was looking at it. But with your own two eyes, you could see it. She was hoping to continue working on it and even offer it to NATO. But, after 2 months. She was a found in an ally in Mexico. She had been tortured, and raped. She died 2 days later." The general said. my eyes widened, and i clenched my fist.
"It was strictly a visual contact basis. We've lost some good men trying to get close to the island. Theres undersea mines, and sound sensors. So when naval activity picked up, there was some anxiety. We dont know the extent of how much they've changed her original work, and how much its evolved. But they've been playing the steam game for quite a long time. I dont know what you're walking into. So tread carefully." The general said. I looked at him. "I wont let you down sir. I'll do it for your men, and -" "Lolita. Lolita, Sanches." The general said. "I'll do it for her. Thank you for the information." I said shaking his hand.
He nodded, and i walked back towards the port. I felt the anger building up. "Oh, Y/N. We are having a Canadian destroyer joining us for the mission. They'll be meeting us there." XO said walking up to me. "Good. Ask them is there's anything specific on the Geneva checklist they wanna scratch off." I said. XO kinda chuckled, but he could tell i was serious. There gonna need to add some more things when im through.
At 2 pm. The order was given to get all of the crew back on board and start getting prepared. Y/N was way more motivated that before. "Where do you need me sir?" Y/N asked. "Hmm. I dont think we need you right now. Sorry bud." The captain said. "Okay sir." Y/N said.
With the occasional asking to hold something or carry something. Y/Ns lack of actually being trained on a submarine, being an actual crew member really showed. But by 4, things were ready to go. The only thing was the game plan. On the O'Brien, Captain ramius, Tom, and Y/n were in a mission room. "So, the best course of action based on the new information from the general. We are gonna need to go in stealthy." Tom said. "I'll go in first. I'll scout out the coast lines, and where the underwater mines, and sound detectors are. I can relay it back to you guys. But if worst comes to shove. I'll go on the islands alone." Y/N said. "Y/N, we are here to help you." Tom said. "I know. So I'll start by scouting. And then we'll play it by ear. We have no clue what we are walking into." Y/N said.
After departure, and staying close to the destroyer the Sub was on its way to the islands. Y/N was up top with the captain. "You okay there son?" The captain asked. "Dinosaurs and man where two species separated by 65 million years of evolution. No one had the slightest idea of what to expect. And now with a superhuman society, and technology far greater than that in 93. I fear the worst is yet to come. Making anything that could've happened if there wasnt super powers, seem like a day dream." Y/N said. Clenching his fists. Knowing he'd only added more fire to the flame, with his new animal suckling from the bottle in Minas arms.
(Okay, I know it's been a while. I was super into my demon slayer fanfic. But im gonna get more into this one now. Now. I had a little bit of an idea, while writing this. I could have the whole plan play out as it is seeming too. Or i could have it as sort of flash backs and revealed later on during the summer training camp. I think either way would be awesome. Anyway, you guys have a great day.)
