bakugo couldn't quite believe himself. first, he had gotten todoroki lunch and was wasting his time by waiting for todoroki to leave the classroom for lunch. second, bakugo had caught todoroki when he fell forward, and went so far as to hug the bastard?! third, bakugo had carried todoroki all the way to his dorm, even letting the dumbass cuddle into his jacket. fourth, bakugo fucking tucked icyhot into bad, and took off his jacket that todoroki was holding onto so that he could keep his hold onto it while he was sleeping in his bed. fifth, bakugo stayed in todoroki's room while he slept so that he could make sure he ate a bit once he woke up. (aizawa had somehow managed to catch todoroki's food when he'd dropped it.)
bakugo walked around todoroki's dorm while he slept. it was unexpectedly messy. there were piles of clothes, books, papers, and all sorts of other crap littered his floor. his desk was messy with papers carelessly strewn about on it. there were sticky notes scattered across todoroki's walls, months old haphazard reminders to do mundane things, like brush his teeth, and read a book, and when past homework was due.
bakugo had always expected todoroki to keep a clean room, considering how well put together he always looked. but, bakugo kinda expected everyone to be as neat as him. it was fucking disgusting not to be.
bakugo sighed to himself, irritated, and began to pick up the room. he put all of the clothes on the ground into a laundry basket he found in todoroki's half-opened closet. he organized the papers into neat stacks and placed them nicely on todoroki's desk. he out away random knick-knacks, and threw away whatever was obviously trash. once bakugo was ready to move onto the sticky notes, todoroki woke up.
"bakugo?" todoroki muttered, now sitting up and rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands. "what're you doing in here?"
"you freaked out and i caught you when you, like, fainted or whatever." bakugo said. "i carried you in here. i'm cleaning up your room, it's a fuckin' mess."
"you... you caught me?" todoroki questioned, his eyes going wide as he looked at bakugo's uniform jacket that was still in his hands.
"yeah, when you fell." bakugo responded.
"you were the floor and the blanket." todoroki said, his face going slightly pink out of what bakugo assumed was embarrassment.
"sure," bakugo said, not sure what todoroki was talking about, "now eat your food."
bakugo started pulling sticky notes off of the walls as todoroki stared at the jacket in his hands.
