Fell POV-
I woke up with a start. Another damn nightmare, I sighed and sat up in bed.
Wait...BED?!
I looked around and then remembered that Nightmare had let me join his family. I smiled to myself at the memory. Course I'd never admit that I liked it here to there faces. I did love those damn idiots.
Knowing myself, I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep after a nightmare. I wandered downstairs looking at the pictures on the walls as I went. Every person here has lost there home and place in the universe. Or have been deemed unworthy of saving. Yet, here we are. Are little broken boy family. I smirked and went to our kitchen.
Only to find I wasn't alone there. Horror was also awake. He hadn't noticed me I don't think. I was about to tell him off when I heard him sniffle. He was crying. He clutched onto a photo and I leaned over to see what it was. (On his blind side of course.)
It was of him and his brother. His hands were shaking and he was curled in on himself. "That your papyrus"
Horror jumped and his half lit eye darted to me. When he saw me his body relaxed. He only nodded in response. Then he said something I never thought he'd admit to me,
"I had a nightmare about him again."
"You have Nightmares about your bro too?"
We both made eye contact in surprise. Horror gestured for me to sit by him.
"Fucking fine"
"Ahaha never thought you'd actually follow my orders"
"That's only cuz I can't hear em from up here"
The smaller skeleton glared and then chuckled giving in.
"Yeah yeah, well at least I don't look like I'm trying to cosplay shadow the hedgehog"
"Hey!"
We both laughed and I put my arm around his small frame as he began to shake again.
"Wasn't your fault little buddy"
To my surprise he leaned into me.
"You didn't deserve your brother beating you either Red"
"..."
"..."
"I told you not to call me Red, Horror"
"Just be glad I didn't call you cherry, dick nips"
We both laughed at our own insults.
We both talked about our Nightmares and Horror made me some hot chocolate. Before I knew it we both were curled up together listening to soft sad music to calm our nerves.
Or rather I grabbed Horror and held him like a teddy bear. Horror was perfect for that. Surprisingly he didn't seem to mind.
We stayed up all night talking. Both finding comfort in the security of each other.
What did I do to deserve a mate like Horror.
I kissed his broken skull as he drifted off to sleep.

Our position will be hard to explain in the morning.
