Chapter 14 Swimming at night

~Danielle's POV~

After the mud incident Dustin and I have been kissing and trying to be with each other all the time. Every time I think about it I smile.

I smiled just watching Dustin run the ball.

Maddy and I were sitting in the grandstands at the football game when the guys walked up to us.

"How do you guys get here so quick don't you have a game." Jack sat behind Maddy and she leaned back and rested on his knees. When nobody was looking he stole a kiss.

"The team we played we murdered them and the game ended early." I shook my head in understanding and Jason sat beside me and Tyler on the row above Jason.

I turned my head to talk to Maddy but I was interrupted by the crowds 'ohhhhss' and the whistle blowing by three refs.

All our eyes turned to the field. All at once we all ran down the bleachers. The bleachers weren't very far off the ground so we just jumped over the fence and landed on the running track.

The principal and vice principal stopped us from going on the field.

The football trainer ran onto the field and all the players on the sidelines were down on one knee. I was scared.

They took his helmet off and I saw arms go above his head. They got him up slowly but surely. Dustin had his arms around Trents and somebody else's shoulders and they were helping him get back to the bench.

Hey sat him down and Dustin placed his head in his hands. We watched as the trainers checked up on Dustin from time to time until the principal told us to go back to the stands.

We did as we were told and walked back up to the grandstands. Jason got caught in the group of cheerleaders and a hand full were looking at Jack and Tyler. Jack just reached down and kissed Maddy.

They would huff and turn their heads. Nicole sent me daggers and I stood my ground and starred right back at her.

She needed up looking away and me smiling in a victory. We made it back to the seats and the coach walked over to Dustin and said something to him.

Trent walked over and helped Dustin up. They helped him walk back to the locker room. The game quickly resumed and ended in a touchdown and a win for our school.

We rushed over to the team walking back up to the locker room. I caught Ty before he got caught in the mass of players.

"Ty!" He turned around at me. "What happened to Dustin?" I crossed my arms and sent him a look that I was still pissed at him for what he did to Dustin.

A look of apology flashed across his face but I wasn't folding. He shouldn't have done that in the first place.

"He's fine. He just got the wind knocked out of him and the trainer took him inside to straighten out his back." I nodded my head and he had a sorry look in his eyes.

"Ty im still had at you for what you did to Dustin." His face fell and the guys stood next to me crossing their arms.

"Ah so this is the Ty that Dustin beat up." They looked intimidating to say the least. Three against one. Its not going to end well.

Ty scratched the back of his head and I placed my hand on Jacks shoulder. Ty looked at the ground and walked away. Ty's strong but I couldn't let the guys hit him.

Once all the football players made it in the locker room Dustin made it out with a smile on his face. I ran up to him and gave him a hug.

"Are you ok?" He shook his head.
