Elizabeth a large Maine coon sniffed at the roots of her favorite tree. She loved it so much in fact that she had built her house in it. Looking around her ears flattened. See she wasn't just smelling the roots. She caught a whiff of dog. Her back arched slightly before it calmed seeing a bloodied cat. The cat was walking confidently the blood was obviously not hers. 'Must be the blood of that dog.' She thought. The cat's ears perked up "hi do you need help cleaning up?" The other female purred softly before responding with a light southern accent "oh that'd be just nice!"
Elizabeth purred back "well come on up! I'll help you out" she said before leaping into the tree. The other cat jumped in after her. She heard a light laugh from her companion turning she looked curiosity in her blue eyes. The calico smiled innocently "sorry I just really like your place nice and cozy. Do you have family or friends over often?" She asked. Elizabeth smiled her eyes showing warmth that hid a slight sadness. Shaking her head she sighed "thank you and no not really. My family is dead..." she mewed lightly "and I don't really have any friends" she admitted laughing at herself. The other she cat gingerly placed her tail on Elizabeth's back purring. The calico leaned closer nearly touching noses she whispered "I think you're really cute" she purred.
Elizabeth's pelt fluffed from embarrassment she could feel the warmth raising up in her body. "I uh heh you're cute too. And uh my name is Elizabeth" she said looking at the ground. The calico purred softly pulling back she sat down and began cleaning the blood off herself. Elizabeth swallowed her nervousness and began helping clean the blood. But she pulled away quickly her own blood running cold. This wasn't dog blood. Elizabeth looked at the calico concerned "I didn't realize it was cat blood... were you in a fight?" She asked her voice quivered with nervousness.
The calico looked up smiling but her eyes seemed to be disappointed. "So you noticed? And I thought we were getting along really well." She purred claws unsheathing she had Elizabeth cornered. "Should you know my name? That is the question." She purred before laughing "well it won't matter either way. Do you want to know my name Elizabeth?" She took her right paw gently touching Elizabeth's face trailing a claw down her neck.
Elizabeth swallowed back her fear "no" she said before jumping over the calico. She had underestimated the danger of the cats claws as Elizabeth felt a searing pain in her abdomen. Her eyes watered slightly as she fell to the floor. She scrambled up and stumbled out of the tree house her paws slick with her own blood. She crashed to the ground with a loud thud, she was dizzy and panting feeling weak from blood loss.
The calico had jumped out after her now standing nose to Elizabeth ear. She purred "my name is Abigail." She said as the light faded from Elizabeth's eyes.
Abigail stood up laughing lightly before meowing loudly for Tituba. The dog appeared quickly grabbing the body and running off to hide it. Abigail purred beginning to clean herself up again now more bloody than before.

The air seemed still as blood pooled around the body. Though the stillness was quickly disturbed as wisps of wind stirred the fur on the body. Shakily the transparent cat stood a tear streaked snarling face looked in the direction of Abigail. The ghost had many thoughts swirling around her head but none were clear none except for revenge. Elizabeth stood claws extended but felt herself ghost through anything solid. Even her own body. She blinked tears running down more now. She couldn't touch anything, at least not from the living world. She trudged back to her treehouse her one safe haven. But as she entered everything was ransacked her blood was boiling, hissing lightly she raised her paw slashing at Abigail. Abigail only shivered looking around she saw nothing. "Why is it so cold?" she muttered standing up and stretching she walked around. 'No other cold spots, why am I suddenly so cold?' She wondered silently. Her turquoise and green eyes flickered across the room sighing she still saw nothing but her breath. "Strange it's spring" she muttered shaking out her fur fluffing up a bit.

Elizabeth hissed Abigail couldn't see her?! Her tail lashed as she followed the calico. It seems Abigail could sense her though, "why not make this bitch forever cold like her heart?" Elizabeth purred at the thought of making the shorter furred cat cold. Though something felt off. Something seemed to be tugging her elsewhere. As if she was meant to be somewhere else. She sighed and began following the feeling.

A few days had passed she was less angry, but couldn't help but wonder where she was going. That is until she locked eyes with a living being. He seemed startled if not terrified by her. Elizabeth looked down and saw how she looked, guts were dangling from her belly which was oozing blood. She looked back at the living being and slowly asked through a raspy voice "you can see me?" The other nodded his eyes never leaving her his voice was timid as he spoke "how are you not dead?" He questioned. Elizabeth sighed "I-I am dead." She said softly. The other approached cautiously "but you look so alive?!" He shook his head beginning to laugh "have I finally lost my mind?! Hey demon is this another of your tricks?!" He basically roared as he seemed to break down into tears. Elizabeth tilted her head her eyes softened as she understood. She was meant to help him. She didn't know how but she had to help.
