Killing To Live

Alface's first kill

Alface followed Repolho closely sniffing the air they growled ever so slightly, cats. If there was anything Alface hated it was cats, they didn't know why but they hated them now. Repolho heard the growl lifting his head he saw cats his neck fur bristled with indignation. How come that family got to live and not his mother? "You said it bud" he huffed lowly "if only their family was destroyed." He growled under his breath.

Alface 'looked' at Repolho licking their lips with their pointed tongue. Turning the giant stormed the family quickly grasping one of the cats and killing it, a kit ran to Repolho. The larger Harberster looked down at the kit picturing Abigail he quickly pounced killing it. Alface finished off the family within minutes of the attack. Repolho looked at the bloody mess smiling, much better. Alface turned to Repolho their anger had calm and quelled. Maybe their emotions were intertwined like their souls.

Repolho sniffed at their food grabbing some to eat "You gonna eat too?" he asked the other who now sat beside him. The larger beast huffed sniffing before beginning to eat as well. Repolho looked around "We could go to their nest for the night have somewhere to sleep." He mentioned stretching slightly the beast yawned looking at the Harberster next to them. Repolho nodded "You're right if family or friends find them we'd be in trouble. Hmm can you climb?" He asked. Alface growled lowly teeth slightly bare. Repolho nodded "okay so no climbing. Well let's go find a place to nest for the night." He got up and looked around listening for a river to wash off. He turned "You better like water because we're going to the river to wash off." Alface huffed before getting up and grabbing Repolho walking to the river. While yes Alface didn't mind getting wet they hated rivers they are too loud for the beasts sensitive ears.

Alface stopped at the waters edge ears flattened back to minimize pain from the sound of water. They stepped in cautiously as they weren't sure how deep it was. They quickly calmed when a foot deep in the water they felt the floor and stepped fully in dipping their face into the water beginning to clean off. Repolho stepped in after cleaning off as well though having fur he stayed wet longer. After they were cleaned they got out and searched for a good nesting spot. Once found, the two were tuckered out and fell asleep quickly.
