"And...there's your new addition," Dr. Larson smile, as she pointed to the screen. You had scheduled an ultrasound with her the day you brought Em in for her check up.

Ben, of course, was next to you, holding your hand and fighting back tears. Another baby! He couldn't wait! "Are there any surprises we should know about?" He joked. You chuckled, as Dr. Larson said, "None that I can see. This one seems to be alone." You both let out a sigh of relief. More twins was too much.

Dr. Larson told you that you were about two and a half months along (Paris, obviously) and things were already looking good. She assured you both that the possibility of another heart defect with this one was very rare. That put your minds at ease.

On your way out, Ben's phone started ringing. He looked at the I.D. and his eyes blew wide. "Yes, yes, hello?" He answered. You looked at him curiously as he listened to the person on the other line. He let out a sigh of relief and said, "Thank you, thank you so much! We'll see you Tuesday, then."

When he hung up, he told you, "I got Em an appointment with the best Cardiologist in England. He was booked for three months, but managed to squeeze us in. Tuesday, three o'clock."

You smiled at him and asked, "How did you manage that?" He nervously scratched the back of his neck, before saying, "I pulled the name card. Figured if I'm going to use it for anything, I might as well use it for this."

"Don't you have that reading for the Imitation Game on Tuesday?" He nodded, then told you, "Yeah, but I should be done around two, two-thirty. If not, I'll skip out early." You gave him a look because you knew how he was with work. "This is my daughter's health," he explained. "You and the kids are what's most important."

You got to the car and he opened the door for you like a true gentleman. You pulled him down for a kiss, as his hands went to your hips and stroked your sides. "You're a great father," you sweetly told him. "I'm so glad your super sperm keeps penetrating through my pills."

He let out a bellowing laugh and said, "Thank you, love. I'm glad your eggs are accepting my sperm and keep creating these beautiful children."

"This is a very interesting conversation."

"It is. You love me?"

"Of course. You love me?"

"A bit. Shall I get you home so I can shag your brains out?"

"Sounds delightful."

Tuesday came around and you had managed to get Em and Nate out the door and to the cardiologist all by yourself. Ben was stuck in the reading and, from the texts you were getting, he seemed very agitated.

Em didn't want anything to do with you or the doctors or their damn tests. As soon as you brought her and Nate back with the doctor, she started screaming and crying. Nate, obviously getting distressed by his sister, started screaming and crying with her.

Several nurses had to come in to try and calm her down, but nothing seemed to work! You have never been more embarassed in your life! And then...as if the God's were answering your prayers...Ben bursted into the room, panting, sweating, and looking worried.

Em's eyes went to him when he walked in and she immediately started reaching out to him from a nurse's arms, crying, "Dada!" He quickly crossed the room and took her from the nurse, cooing, "Oh, baby, daddy's here. It's alright sweetheart." He snuggled her up to him and kissed her head repeatidly.

You were the first one to notice, but suddenly her breaths started get short and quick. Before you could say anything, Ben started muttering, "No, no, no, no." He turned to the nurse, who took her and called for the Cardiologist.
