Friday

Getting up and ready to go to your family's first day at Disneyland was a ride in itself. First, there was the waking up part that you and Ben didn't want to do, especially since you were woken up at six in the morning. You would think it was Christmas morning by how excited the kids were.

After encouraging each other to get up, Ben ordered room service while you gave the kids a bath since they didn't have one yesterday. Once Ben finished ordering, he came in and helped you fight your three children to stay still. Conner didn't know what the hell was going on, but when Nate or Em started bouncing or showing excitement, so did he.

The park didn't open until eight, so you and Ben took your time getting them ready, as well as yourselves. The breakfast came at about seven o'clock, which was perfect because by the time you finished and made sure you had everything, the park would be open.

Ben had taken the liberty in ordering the kids Mickey Mouse shaped waffles and a bowl of fruit and ordered the two of you the American Breakfast, which was practically a feast. The kids were too excited to eat and that caused a battle between them and Ben.

You didn't want anything to do with the argument so you opted to just stay out of it. Ben cut up Em and Nate's waffles while giving them a lecture on how breakfast was the most important meal of the day and how they weren't going to the park until they ate it all.

You were focused on Conner who happily ate anything you put in front of him. You gave him some of your muffin and a little bit of your scrambled eggs and watched as he sloppily chewed on them with a giant grin.

His favorite thing to eat was fruit, so you sacrificed your bowl to him and you've never seen a baby so happy. "Dada! Froo!" He shouted in pure joy as he pointed to the bowl of fruit. Ben playfully gasped and asked, "Did mummy give you her fruit?"

Conner excessively nodded and said, "I lie froo!" Ben chuckled and said, "I know you like fruit. If you keep eating fruit, then you're going to turn into one." That made Conner giggle and he started chomping on an apple, then a watermelon, cantaloupe, etc..

Lately, you've noticed Conner start to pick up a little more words and he was becoming more and more verbal. He was going into nursery school next month and the kids were going to start kindergarten. You would have registered them for the fall, but with everything going on with Em and trying to get her better, you didn't want to add school into the mix. Plus, Nate would never go to school without his sister.

There was a lot happening in the next few months with the kids starting school, Ben starting his Hamlet rehearsals, and you getting closer to your due date. By the time the baby is born, Ben will be all over the place filming Dr. Strange and it was these thoughts that made you want to take this trip. The more family time, the better.

"Honey, you alright?" Ben asked, as put his hand over yours. You jumped out of your thoughts and looked over at him with a smile. "Yeah," you told him. "I'm just glad we're doing this." He brought your hand to his lips and kissed your knuckles before saying, "I am, too. I'm glad you thought it up."

You spent the remainder of the hour listening to the kids talking about what rides they wanted to go on and what characters they wanted to meet. Unfortunately, you knew that half the rides they mentioned, they wouldn't be able to go on. You'll deal with that battle once you get there.

At eight o'clock, Ben had declared that you all get moving. You both and the kids brushed your teeth, then Ben started making sure he had everything he needed in his backpack; waters, snacks, jackets, tickets, wallets, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, Conner's diapers, Conner's bottle, and of course...Emma's lamb. Because she can't go anywhere without it.
