Saturday

Today was the day you and your family were to go to California Adventure. A lot of the rides there were mainly for the big kids, which Ben suggested you could take advantage of and leave early to have dinner someplace nice, but you were hellbent on staying to watch the World of Color that started at ten o'clock.

Ben clearly wasn't happy by your decision and wasn't sure how you guys were going to get the kids under control for that long. That was, until, he got a call this morning from his dear friend Kiera Knightley who offered to take the kids off your hands for the night after Ben had told her his dilemma.

He told her "no" several times and that it was "too much trouble", but she insisted it was fine and that she "really" wanted to. So, after talking it over with you, you both agreed. Kiera and her husband were going to meet you at the hotel at around eight o'clock tonight after you take the kids to dinner and you and Ben were going to venture back off to the park.

So, the two of you headed out for the day with your two bouncing children and happy toddler for another day of fun. You entered the park with your same essentials; backpack, Em's tank, snacks, waters, etc..

The kids weren't as in awe at this park as they were with the other, but as you got more and more into the park, they started to get more and more excited at all the rides. Unfortunately, all the ones they wanted to go on, they couldn't.

"You're not big enough for that one, buddy," Ben told Nate as the small boy looked up at the Hollywood Tower of Terror. "Maybe in a few years." He took Nate by his shoulders and guided him away. "I don't wanna wait a few years," Nate pouted.

Ben sat them both down at the bench where you had parked the stroller and looked over to you watching Emma and holding Conner a few yards away. He looked back over to his son and said, "It will go by quicker than you know, I promise. One day, you're going to be wishing you were back to being too short for a ride. Believe me. But, hey, you're having a good time right?"

Nate looked up at his father and gave him a small smile. He nodded and told him, "Yeah. I like you here with us, daddy." Ben chuckled and brought his son to his side, placing a kiss to his head. "What do you say we get to Cars Land?" He asked.

You five continued your journey to Cars Land where Ben took Emma and Nate and went on to Radiator Springs Racers and you stood on the sidelines with Conner and watched with a smile. Every time they passed, they'd wave at you and you'd wave back.

Next was the bumper cars that you clearly couldn't go on. Ben shared a cart with Em and Nate had his own (after much persuasion from Ben to the guy who controlled the ride) and it was a constant playful battle between them. Nate would always aim at the father-daughter duo and Ben encouraged Em to get him back.

Once they got off the ride, you decided the kids were in need of some lunch so you went to Flo's V8 Café. All of you ordered hamburgers (except Conner had to have his fruit or he was going to throw a fit). After you all finished, you and Ben treated the kids to Vanilla shakes with chocolate toppings, while you and Ben shared a Chocolate shake.

Of course, that led to your kids being hyped up on sugar. They at least took their energy out by going on rides and visiting "A Bug's Land" that had a jungle gym for them to run around and play on. At one point, Emma started getting tired from all the excitement and crawled into her daddy's arms while Nate kept playing.

"You tired, baby girl?" Ben asked as he wrapped his arms securely around her. She nodded into his chest and let out a cute little yawn. It was almost two o'clock, but you could tell Nate was getting to Emma's point pretty quickly and Conner was already passed out in the stroller.
