AIDEN DID WHAT?! pt.1

Aru was mad.

Aiden was doing his petty' let's ignore Aru' act. It was like whatever happened between them on Aru's birthday hadn't even happened. In fact, he seemed even more determined to ignore Aru now.

So, she stalked off, she didn't know where she was going, she just knew she was going somewhere away from Aiden acharya.

Halfway through, Aru's ears perked up. Someone was following her.

No way, could it be Aiden?!

Of course, not you idiot "Aru immediately scolded herself, it was probably mini or Brynne. Or both.

Aru felt even angrier now, so she quickened her pace, but the footsteps kept following her until it eventually became annoying.

Ugh.

Defeated, Aru finally turned around, and ...it was Brynne and Mini. Aru tried to ignore the twinge of disappointment.

"What do you want?" Aru asked.

"What we want is to know what's happening between you and Aiden," Brynne said.

"Nothing's happening, Brynne. Now can a girl at least feel sorry for herself with a little privacy."

"We want to help you, Aru" Mini said, "we'll never complete the mission in time if this keeps happening"

Aru sighed. She would have to tell them, wouldn't she?

"Ugh fine." Aru said. she sat down on a rock and braced herself for what was going to come out of her mouth. She took in a deep breath before saying "Aiden kissed me"

"AIDEN DID WHAT?!" Brynne shouted.

"Keep it down!" Aru whisper yelled. She probably looked like an angry tomato.

Mini's hand was clamped over her mouth, but Aru could tell she was smiling.

"I cannot believe you finally kissed," mini said

Brynne scoffed "took you long enough"

Aru glared at her.

"I don't know why he's ignoring me. He probably just kissed me so wouldn't feel bad, and know he's scared of leading me on because he's in love with his camera" Aru grumbled

Or Kara, he must've realised that he shouldn't have rejected Kara and kissed the Swedish fish-loving weirdo she was instead. Aru thought.

Brynne and Mini shared a look like they knew something she didn't.

"What?" Aru asked.

"Nothing" Brynne replied "I'll go talk to him"

"Yah' mini said" don't worry about Aiden, Aru. Sometimes people do the wrong stuff for the right reasons. Don't drive yourself crazy over him. Don't look for closure, just be happy. Be yourself. Ok?"

Dang, mini really had changed.

Aru smiled. "Yah" She sprang up, "let's go back"

Brynne and Mini smiled, and Aru felt grateful and proud of the family she had found.

"Thanks," Aru said.

"That's what sisters do don't they?" Brynne said

"Yah, they do" Aru agreed.

The vision of her sisters glaring at her with hateful eyes briefly flashed before her eyes, but she ignored it.

It was probably just a vision he had tweaked to make Aru scared but deep down she knew that wasn't true.

But that didn't matter, she would enjoy her time with them while she could.
