Still the One
I'll travel the entire world just to find you,
To pacify this insufficient hunger of desire.
So stay where you are right now--don't move,
And give me a sign of passionate fire.
Don't go further away and remain;
Aim for this lonely heart that trails behind
Your every footsteps on the life sand,
With the love she offered as a crime.
If you turn away right now, don't look back;
Don't you dare take a peek of what was done!
Don't take another look at my horrid face,
Filled with tears for the love that has gone...
But if you saw me standing nearer every step,
Run to me faster than the wind ever could;
Collect me into your warm embrace, kiss me dearly--
Erase any distance we ever pursued.
Reach for my hand and stare at the sea,
As the sun rises and meets dawn;
Look into my eyes and tell me,
That you're still the one.
