Behind that Smile
Think--I'm thinking too much
Think--keep thinking, when can I stop?
Think--thinking about life, why?
Think--because I kept thinking, my heart hurtsStop! Can't stop thinking--my head melts
Stop! Thinking of what again? Can't breathe...
Stop! Silence that voice... I'm dying in shame
Stop! You did it--Regrets followed--NO!Pain, hurt, lies
Turn on that blind eye, don't look!
Truth, sorrow, disguise
Close my ears, don't listen!Wounds, scars, facades
Rub them off, don't touch me!
Blood, spirit, soul
Be numb, don't show fear!Fail, I need to be strong!
Swallow, don't get devoured in!
Imagine, shut them off!
Anger, relax and find yourself!Knife, Don't do it! Don't kill!
Darkness, don't get blind!
Silence, too loud..too loud!
Death, don't die!
The sight of what happens inside
All those struggles behind that little smile
To show the world that I'm fine
Even when I'm bleeding all the while.
