I finished up my look with just braiding my hair. Calum was going to be here in 20 minutes. I quickly grabbed my phone and wallet and met me mom downstairs.

"Okay mom. Don't try to embarrass me too much."

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine. So before he gets here, tell me a little bit about him." I could feel my cheeks heat up.

"He's tall, has brown hair and umm likes music." I said as I was clueless.

"This is why I don't ask about your love life." My mom said walking away. I laughed as I popped a grape into my mouth.

Soon enough Calum was here.

"Why hello Chloe."

"Calum. So before we go umm my mom wanted to meet you." I said a bit quite at the end.

"Uh what? Chloe? Why didn't you tell me. I would have dressed nice and actually brushed my hair." He said worried. He ran to the closest mirror and started to fix his hair.

"She won't care what you look like. Come on you idiot." I grabbed his wrist pulling him into the kitchen.

"Is this Calum?"

"Hello Mrs. Brooks." Calum nervously shook my moms hand.

"Call me Laura. So where are you guys going?"

"To the movies."

"Make sure you bring her home before 12." My mom directly said to Calum.

"O-okay." I laughed and we left.

-----

"Your moms really nice."

"Haha thanks. But she's rarely around." I shrugged.

"What about your dad?" I sat there quite.

"Uh he's not around much." he nodded.

The rest of the ride was quite. No body really brings up my dad.

We walked in an waited in line. When it was our turn I started to hand them the money.

"No no no no. I got this." i rolled my eyes and still handed the money to the person. Calum quickly snatched the money from my hands and gave the girl his money. He took my money and slipped in my back pocket.

"I told you got this. Also snacks are on me." He giggled. We got our snacks and walked into the theater. We took at seat on the top towards the middle.

There wasn't anyone in the theater yet so I did the bunny ears with my fingers and put it right in front of the projected lens.

Calum suddenly broke out in laughter. He ended up joining me. We ended up stopping when people started to walk in. I rather not get kicked out of the movies.

"This is fun." Calum whispers in my ear.

"Everything is fun to you." I whisper back.

"No. School, homework, cleaning, spending time with my mom while she shops isn't fun." He whined.

"Shh the movie is starting." I hushed him.

"Your no fun." He whined again.

"I though you just I was fun." I smirked.

"I meant this is fun. Watching a movie." I smiled.

"I know."

Throughout the movie Calum started to yawn. I don't blame him. This movie is kind of boring.

"Hey."

"Hi Calum."

"Your cute."

"Thanks. You too." He smiled and laid his head on my shoulder.

"Night." I laughed.

"Night Calum."
