"I can't believe there already hooking up." I laughed.
"I know right." He laughed back. Right now Calum was showing me one of his favorite spots to just hang out.
"Okay we're here." I looked around. It was a park. A cute park. There were trees, a playground, a pathway, and a little lake.
"Wow this is amazing. It's so pretty." It truly was.
"There's more." He grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me to this big tree.
"Um it's a nice tree." I was a bit confused.
"Hold on." He went be hide the tree and brought back a ladder. Now I was extremely confused. He placed it on the tree and started to climb it. Then it hit me.
"Follow me." I started to climb be hide him. When he reached the end of the ladder he climbed inside this tree house.
"Whoa."
"You like?" He smirked at me.
"So did you built this."
"My dad did. It even has it's own little lock so no one else can come in. It has everything you need to survive inside." He had the biggest smile on his face. I couldn't help but just giggle.
He unlocked the door and let me go in first. He wasn't wrong. It had a couch, blankets, a cooler, a radio, and a tv.
"How the heck do you have a tv and radio in here."
"Theres an extended cord that runs underneath the ground and that is plugged in that outlet over there." He pointed out the window to the bathroom.
"So is this where you bring many of your dates." I said as I sat on the couch.
"Every last one of them." He went to the cooler and pulled out two waters.
"Thanks." It got really quite. All you could hear we're kids screaming from the playground. My phone decided to be the one to break the silence.
"Sorry hold on." I answered without checking caller ID.
"Yo where are you?"
"Uh hi Sammy."
"Uh hi where are you?" She asked again.
"The park. Why is everything okay?"
"Yeah everything is fine. I kind of would like to go though."
"Oh yeah sure I'll be back in a little." I was a little sad that I had to leave now.
"What's wrong? Why are you leaving?" Calum asking worried.
"Sammy wants to leave, and she's my ride so I got to go."
"Stay, I'll drive you home." I hesitated for a minute.
"Uh.. umm no your fi-fine. Don't wo-rry about me." I stuttered.
"No I will. I don't mind. I actually would love too."
"Uh ar-are you sure?"
"Yes! Text Sammy telling her that I'll take care of you." I did what he told me too. I took a deep breath and told myself to realize.
We ended up just listening to music and lying on the couch doing nothing.
"This is nice." He whispered.
"What? Just laying here doing nothing."
"But I'm doing it with you." I legit felt butterflies in my stomach.
"Yeah cause that's makes everything better."
"It does." He said in a serious tone. I looked him only to see him already looking at me.
"Uh so uh. I need to get home soon." I said sitting up and gathering my things immediately.
"Why are you in a rush. We got time. It's only 7:30." He was right. We got time but I needed to leave. Not really need but want.
"I was supposed to be home by 7. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier."
"Your 17. Your parents give you a curfew. And it's only 7:30. Still light out." He was right again.
"Calum. Please I need to leave now. If you won't drive me then I'll walk." I made my way towards the door slowly till he stopped me. He didn't stop me. He just looked at me.
I got down the ladder and started walking home.
