Going to work was like being held against my will.

It's actually not that bad I just wasn't really feeling it. I begged my mom to stay home but she just threw my keys at me. There's a couple reasons for me not wanting to go to work today.

One reason is because I have to communicate with people and the second reason is I could be in bed sleeping still.

I worked at a little music shop somewhere stuck in the city. It was me and these two older couple that own it. They don't usually come around when I'm working.

I had on some black skinny jeans with my black high top converse. I also added a white T-shirt with a jacket and a flannel.

I unlocked the shop and started to turn everything on. I turned on the radio and put on some music. My taste for music is pretty different to any other teenage girl if you ask me.

Some of my favorite bands are Green Day, All Time Low, Blink 182, Panic! At The Disco And Fall Out Boys. I just played what ever was in. 'American Idiot' came on and I just left it as that.

I got everything going. I even made some fresh coffee for some people. I only had 3 people come in and only 1 person bough something.

I was getting ready to go on break until someone came in. I was stacking CDs in the back so I didn't get to see who it was. It got quite after a while. I didn't know if the person left. I looked around the corner. There was boy looking at CDs. I don't think he noticed I came back because when he turned around he almost dropped his CDs. I looked at the stack. All the music he had in his hand was the same kind of I liked.

"Hi." He said to me in a familiar accent. Kind of sounded like he was Australian.

"Hi. Are you all set?" I ask him while he continue to stare at me.

"Huh? Uh oh yeah. Sorry." I laughed at how he zoned out for a second. I nodded and started to scan the CDs.

"So you like Green Day?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Also All Time Low and Blink 182 and much more." He said as his wonder around the store. "So what about you?"

"What about me?" I ask a bit confused.

"Like what's your favorite kind of bands."

"Basically the same."

"That's amazing. I've never met a girl that had the same taste in music like me."

"There's not much of us." I giggled. I finished up putting the CDs in the bag.

"Okay that will be 7.48." he handed me exact change an took the bag. He was about to leave until he turned around and said something to me which caught me by surprise.

"So maybe I'll see you around again sometime. Here's my number." He slipped me a tiny piece of paper that had some numbers on it. "By the way my name is Calum."

"Chloe." He smiled and left the store.
