Chloe's POV
I sat on my bed thinking. Why was Calum acting like this. I texted sam.
"Hey do you have Ashton's number?"
"Uh yes. Why?"
"I need it."
"Okay." She texted me the number. I saved it in my contacts. I pushed the name and after a couple of rings someone picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Ashton. Its Chloe."
"Hey Chloe what's up?"
"Nothing. I was just wondering if everything is okay with Calum."
"Uh I guess so. I heard the conversation between you two. You okay?"
"Oh. Yeah. I just wanted to see if he was available Monday. I didn't know you guys had band practice on weekdays."
"We don't. I actually don't know his plans for Monday." he sounded surprised.
"Could you maybe ask him. Thanks Ashton."
"Yup." I ended the call. I had work in a hour so decided to get ready.
On my way to work was like any day. I got to the shop and did the usual. And as usually no customers.
I started closing the store until someone came in.
"I'm sorry but we're closing." I said looking up at the person.
"Oh well can't I have like 5 minutes."
"4 minutes. Hurry up."
"Okay Chloe I'm so sorry for blowing you off. I wanted to hang out with you and there was so much on my mind and I just needed to get away for a little." Calum basically cried out. I just looked at him not saying anything.
"3 minutes."
"And uh I will go the hospital with you on Monday. I would love too and maybe I can take you out for some lunch." I just looked at him like I wanted some more.
"2 minutes."
"Oh oh and I'll bring you too uh band practice. No that doesn't seem fun. Oh I got it! I'll text you everyday. Make plans with you everyday." He just looked at me I know he ran out of ideas.
"1 minute."
"Ugh uh I don't know. I honestly have nothing left." I tried to think about something.
"5..4..3..2.." I was about to say the last number until someone's lips connected with mine. Calum was kissing me. Actually kissing me like lip to lip contact. I broke the kiss and stood there speechless.
"I guess I will go now." Calum said leaving the store.
"Wait. No you can stay. And I forgive you." He turned around in surprise. He ran up to me hugging me over the counter.
"Okay okay. You can let go of me now." I laughed.
"I'm so sorry I ignored you Chloe."
"It's fine. Just don't do it again please." He smiled.
