Although the sun was up high, the rain continuously pours down inside.
I have lost count of how many times my pillow became the seabed to an ocean brought by a great flood that overflowed from my eyes.
I thought I'll be alright as long as I can still remember how to curve my lips into a smile. They told me that I should just smile, of how it could be a boat I can use to escape the monsters caged inside. I guess it was a lie. Betraying yourself is like telling a chicken that it isn't a bird just because it can't fly.
Hollowness at some point will leave you alone, but it will soon come back to scar your soul once more. You need to remain strong while occasionally letting yourself heal, Brave Soul. Take deep breaths in between.
Honestly, being consumed by nothingness was an endless cycle. It was almost part of living, but overcoming and redeeming yourself is something you shall never give up on.
Please, never let go of yourself.
Darkness has no warning, it visits even the brightest skies, and we owe it to ourselves to protect us. You stand up today and get defeated the next day and that's okay.
Winning will never count the number of retreats but will honor how you took the courage to stand up and continue; even after losing your only weapon, hope.
If you're being flooded inside right now, evacuate to the highest fortress, the Lord. Seek his guidance and remind yourself that you will never be alone for you aren't. These misfortunes may shake your ground but please continue to stand still with what you are and who you are.
You'll soon have clear skies.
You'll be able to smile without lying to yourself.
Bravest, you are already doing great.
You'll soon have clear skies.
