You're drowning, again.
They forewarned you to merely ignore those monsters scribbling shits inside your head, so you tried but it didn't work.
You begged for those monsters to let go of their grip; to vanish into thin air— but they didn't.
Did they?
Being lost without the need of being found, there are nights when losing yourself isn't strange anymore— finding yourself is. To such a degree, nothing's left for you but to nurture that self-doubt swiftly consuming your tiny spec of self-trust, until it restrains you from making further steps forward.
The coldest ocean of sorrow haunts you. And, the ironic mysteries of life compel you to ponder why it has to be like this. Why do you gasp for air while breathing, drown while swimming, cry while smiling, fight while surrendering and gradually die while living? What are you even here for? These questions make each step heavier, I know. But this has to end.
Not every question holds an answer. Sometimes, you need to make the answers on your own.
And, how many liters of grief and longing can you bleed for those monsters that sing lullabies of miseries? Why can't a million shattered pieces of your soul make you see through those broken reflections? You created your monsters. You are the only one capable of destroying them— start now.
Stop running and confront them head-on. You remain their master, tame them! Remember, you aren't a puppet and this universe ain't a puppeteer. Never let yourself cage you. When all the storms start swirling inside, prompt yourself on how chaos brings peace; how defeat invites triumph; and how lost souls are sought to be found.
And if you're still not okay today, it's alright. You'll get through this, soon. All the scars and bruises will paint a masterpiece— an art of substance, beauty, and depth. Soon, every torn will be mended, every wound will be healed, and lost souls will be found.
Monsters do stay as monsters only if we permit them to devour us.
Fight back, brave soul.
You got this!
