To enjoy both the warmth of the sun and the silence of the night. To communicate your thoughts and bleed on crumpled papers. To cuddle yourself beneath the blankets of self-love and acceptance. You are courageously facing each day while others rain down their negativities on you, but please do realize that we can craft our umbrellas—to filter out unworthy people and defend ourselves from their cruel storms.
Windows and doors can be shut when you wanted to be alone. It cannot be taken against you. You are permitted to decide who to let into your abode. Do not authorize them to feed you. Do not allow them to feed on you.
From the moment you permit others to navigate your life, you'll lose sight of your shore— you'll eventually feel lost and empty. So stand still while moving forward. You are entitled to decide for yourself, bravest.
