Chapter 7 - Golden Eyes

It was the stunning deep red and lusciously long straight locks that first grabbed my attention, followed by her fitted t-shirt and jeans that showed off her gorgeous curvy and petite little body.  I couldn't stop staring at her....then she looked at me.

I was totally busted! Oops!

When our eyes met, she flashed me the most amazing smile

I was looking at the most beautiful face and amazing gold eyes I've ever seen.  

A moment later I was disappointed as she looked away, I couldn't quite catch her name as she was being called over by Jarrod.  She was obviously his girlfriend judging by the way he was touching her.  

Damn it.

Just as we had finished packing up I caught up with Jarrod backstage whilst he was collecting the last of their gear.  As he was about to leave I congratulated him on snagging such a stunning beauty...only to be told that she's single.

OH YES! THERE IS A GOD!

"you interested mate?" Jarrod teased me.  

"who wouldn't be Jarrod, she's gorgeous", I quipped.

Jarrod went on to tell me her name is Olympia but she hates it, so everyone calls her Pia.  They've been friends for years and she does his books at Music Time.  He also tells me that she's like a sister as she occassionally kicks his arse when he needs it, which explains their close bond.  It was then that I came to the realisation that she is the girl called "Oly" that Miles is constantly talking about at work.  He says they're just good friends, but I know he's secretly got a little bit of crush on her and I can see why, she's gorgeous.

I don't think she even realises just how beauitful she is and after talking with Jarrod I've managed to find out a little bit more about her.  Apparently Pia has many talents and especially loves singing as she's considering taking it further. From he tells me she has the most incredible voice but is very humble about it all.  Is there anything this girl can't do.

Probably not...wow!

Jarrod and I are planning to catchup by the end of the month as he'll be coming to Music Box to help me setup a few things as I've recently come on board to help with vocal coaching too.  He currently has Rachel and Greg who are both well known artists like myself, but Rachel isn't able to keep up with the demand for singing lessons since she started working for him.  

It's no surprise because Rachel has amazing talent as Greg does too.  He's currently away performing at a festival, so it's going to be a bit of a tag team because when he gets back she'll then be heading off on her tour.  

I guess it's why he's also got Ben and Jess working for him because they're both DJs and their craft doesn't interfere with running the stores.  Now that I've realised Oly and Pia are the same girl, I'm wondering what else Miles can tell me about her.

To be honest I'm a little bit peeved though, ok I lied...I'm really peeved about having to postpone our tour because of everyone's schedules clashing.  Jarrod and I are catching up in a few weeks.

But what I was really hoping for was the opportunity to see her again...
