Secret Agent

Chapter Five | I'll wait...

Before we left for training me and Steve went back to my room and we sat on my bed and had alittle chat.

"Thanks Steve"
"For what?"
"Everything"
"You don't need to say thanks y/n I do it-" he breathes out "I do it because you my friend"

Ouch that hurt. Because your my friend. Why did he have to go and say that ugh. Is that really what he sees me as. Friend. That will stick with me for awhile.

I soon a forgot about it and we talk for abit longer then we start talking about relationships and stuff like that.

"So you- fonduing with anyone" he asked
"Steve no one uses that term any more and remember what I told you fondue is a dessert but no you?"
"I know I know and neither it's so hard to tell the person you like you like them you know"
"Yes Yes I don't know"

Steves Mind
So she likes someone I wonder who. Is it wrong to ask? Oh well.

"So..who do you like"

She looked at me in the eyes and pondered on the question. It was like she didn't know what to tell me, we was in her room it's not like we was in the living room with everyone.

"Y/n"
"Yeah, oh erm" She stopped again.
"You don't have to answer"
"Who do you like"
"Erm"

Y/n's Mind
That's when it hit me...

"Steve"
"Yes"

I looked at him right in his blue eyes. The eyes I once got lost in and will forever. I walk up to him all most touching noses. He kissed my cheek. But I went for the lips. He took a few steps back and looked me up and down.

"Sit" he said tapping on the bed. I do as he said so. "Am I who you like"

I look at the ground and nod he picks up my head from my chin and smiles and says "Your who I like too" I smile back.

"So wanna go out with me" he says with a cheesy grin
"Yeah of course"
"We won't tell the team though"
"I agree"

Nat walks in and says "Don't tell the team what"

Me and Steve exchanged looks he looked at me to say we can trust her it's okay so I did trust her-

"Me and Steve are dating"
"WHAT" she shouts

Steve stands up and puts his hand on her mouth "shh I know it's not right but I like her and she likes me can you understand"

"I guess" she says whilst she is still processing it
"Thanks Nat" I say
"Ahhh I'm so happy for you both" she smiles

She hugs us both and gives us the sign to say she will keep it to herself. I nod to say thank you and she leaves the room. Steve goes over to lock the door and I decided to sit on the floor and leaning against my bed. Steve slowly walks up to me and crouches down in front of me kissed my forehead and gets me up he walked away for a second leaving me in the middle of my room. He went to the CD player and played some music the first song was my favourite song to dance to and Steve knew... maybe it was on purpose either way I didn't mind.

The song plays in the background whilst Steve slow dances every then and now he placed his head on top of mine or kissed me on the cheek. The song ended and we was both tiered and I didn't want to be alone not after what happened it's being a long day and Steve knew so he acted like I was in his room watching a movie when really I just wanted to be near him, now I can the way I wanted to be. I wanted the moment to last forever.

Obviously it didn't cause the next day we had some work to do and we had to get up early so no one caught us being together like we was. Especially with the fact ME...I was in STEVE ROGERS bed I couldn't believe it for a moment. But it was the reality I always wanted.

Morning

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you" I say putting my clothes on.
"Come back to bed" Steve says tapping the bed.
"I can't sorry you know people can't see us together"
"I know I know" Steve says in a sad tone
"I'll be able to see you in the living room just we won't be able to kiss it will be a simple hi"
"But I don't want a simple hi" Steve groaned
"Well thats all your getting" I say kissing him on the head then getting up to walk to the door.
"I'll wait for you y/n"
"I'll wait for you too Steve"
I leave the room close it behind me. Placing my head on the door not making a noise.

"So no one is worthy" Tony says down the hall.
"No one except me" Thor says

'Oh shit' I say to myself I run down the hall the opposite way to them to Nats room.

"Hi..." I say.
Nat stares at me in confusion wondering why I'm in her room so early in the morning. She hears Tony and Thor walking down the hall still talking about who's worthy and who's not. She shakes her head.
"What's up with you" I say
"You two have to be more careful"
"What's the suppose to mean"
"Did you spend the night with Steve"
"Yes..."
"Really how was it"
"It was g-"
"I don't care just be careful I can't be in the middle of this all the time you understand y/n" she interrupts
"Yes Natasha" I say sulking to the door "bye then I'll go wake Steve up" I smile and leave the room with Nat still shaking her head
