"Uh... So, are you sure this is it?" I asked Douglas as we stopped in front of a big house playing very loud music.

"This is Katherine's residence. Good luck."

I walked up to the door and opened it. I knew it was pointless to knock with the insanely loud music. Katherine was nowhere to be seen. The music was coming from upstairs, I followed it as it lead me to her room.

I opened the bedroom door and saw Katherine dancing carelessly to the music while curling her shiny soft hair.

"I pictured this being the kind of music you'd listen to," I yelled.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked turning off the music.

"Nice to see you too," I said as I sat down on her bed.

"Right... Well, your necklace is on the nightstand." She said and continued to curl her hair.

I reached over to grab the necklace and looked at it.

"What are you getting ready for?" I asked.

"Does it matter?"

I made a face of confusion. "Why are you acting like a bitch all of a sudden?"

She laughed. "I'm not acting. Now, if you don't mind turning around while I change... I mean unless you want to watch the show." She teased and I instantly turned around.

"Can I come?"

"It's not your thing." She said plainly.

"Well, if you told me maybe I would surprise you."

"Please, you don't have a surprising bone in your body. Alright, I'm done." She sported a black muscle shirt and shorts.

She turned her back to me to face her mirror.

"Close your mouth you'll catch flies." She said as she put on lipstick.

I couldn't help but let my eyes wander as she was leaning against the dresser.

"How do I look then? Considering you can't stop staring at me." She asked as she turned to me.

I felt myself blush. "Good... except you're missing one thing."

Katherine examined her clothes in confusion.

I got up and placed the necklace I had given her around her neck.

"What are you doing?" She questioned.

"Forget what the werewolves say and think of it as a friendship thing."

She paused for a moment. "Whatever... I'm out of here and you should go home."

I nodded. "Okay, see you later then."

We both ended up going our separate ways... Not. I followed her to wherever she was going out of curiosity. She went through the woods past some alleys and so on until we arrived at a bar-looking place. It was already dark and after a few minutes of her walking in I followed.

As I assumed, it was a bar, but something seemed different about this one. I saw Katherine go downstairs and as I made my way to follow I was stopped by a guy around my age.

"I don't think I've seen you around here before. I'm Lance." He said as extended his hand.

"Um..."

I pondered if I should say my real name or use a fake name as I shook his hand.

"Nice. to meet you Um." He smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm just looking for someone..."

"Who would that be? I'm here a lot so maybe I can help?"
