It took a while for us to think of a way to get to Henry. Emma didn't want him to lose faith that we were coming for him. He needed to know we were coming!
"We need to send him a sign" Said Emma
"With lost boys running around trying to kill us all?" Regina asked
"Maybe it's time we used that to our advantage!" Said Mary-Margret
"Really? How?" Regina asked
"Follow me" She replied walking out the cave. We all followed her back to our camp. Before we could ask what she was doing, she started to collect vines to make rope, we all started trying to tie it all together to make some rope, waiting for her to explain.
"A trap?" Regina asked figuring it out "That's your plan?"
"The lost boys want to come after us, we need to go after them" Said Mary-Margret
"You really think a lost boy is gunna betray Pan?" Asked Hook
"Thanks for the advice" She replied brushing his comment off "David we need more vines"
"On it. Your coming with me, Pirate" Said David
"Whys that?" Hook asked
"Because we need more rope!" Said Emma
"If the lady insists" Hook said bowing to Emma mockingly. Hook and David were gone for a while and when they returned neither of them had any vines! But they had something else, some useful thing that was going to help us decode Neal's star map!
"A sextant? And your only telling us about this now?!" Emma asked
"How do we know your not lying?" Regina asked
"Oh you don't. But I'm not. And this is the best exit plan we've had and don't forget we need one!" Said Hook
"Then what are we waiting for?" Emma asked
"Emma, you were right. We need to et that message to Henry. Everyday without hope is a day closer to becoming a lost boy. Your father and I will go" Said Hook
"He's right" Said David
"You want to split up?" Mary-Margret asked
"It's the last thing I want to do, but it's a good chance to get us home" Said David "Emma, be careful. And when you send that message to Henry, tell him his grandpa loves him" He said scooping Emma up in a hug
"Good luck" She said awkwardly. He went over to Mary-Margret and I did not want to see them two make out, so I turned away feeling uncomfortable! They left shortly after and the four of us got back to work building a trap to get a lost boy. We found one and surrounded him before we dropped a net onto him, trapping him
"What are you doing? Are you trying to start a war with Pan?" He asked
"Pan started the war when he kidnapped my son!" Said Emma
"But that doesn't make you our enemy" Said Regina using her magic to get a candy bar
"What's that?!" the kid asked
"Chocolate. I thought you might like the taste of something sweet" She said
"We don't want to hurt you. We just need to get a message to Henry" Said Emma
"Why should I help you?" He asked
"Because you had a home and a family once and you stopped believing you could get back to them. Now we're here, we can help. Not just Henry, all of you, we can get you home" Said Emma. The kid took the candy but then threw it into the trees
"Don't you get it? I'm here because I don't want to go home. None of us do!" Said the kid
"Pan's a monster. Look at what he did to your face" Said Emma talking about the cut the kid had across his cheek
"This? Henry did this" He said. Emma ran straight at the kid and pushed him against a tree "It's too late! Henry is a lost boy now! Your boy is one of the most vicious new recruits we've have had in ages" He said. Mary-Margret pulled Emma off him
"Don't listen to him" She said
"Move aside" Said Regina wanting to get to the kid
"Why?" Mary-Margret asked
"So I can rip his heart out. Then he'll do exactly what we want" Said Regina
"This is not how we do things!" Said Mary-Margret "Emma, we can find another way to get to Henry"
"Emma said at the beginning of this little trip that we all had to be who we are, that's how we will succeed... we have to" I said
"What do you think Emma?" Regina asked
"I think we need to talk to our son" She said
"We can't do this! That is brutal" Said Mary-Margret as Emma grabbed her and tried to keep her still while Regina ripped the kids heart out. She told him to go to Henry and gave him a bit of a mirror that meant we could see Henry and he could see us. We waited and watched the kid walk through the trees and hand the mirror over to Henry
"Henry! Are you ok?" Emma asked as we saw Henry's face
"Mom?" He asked
"We're here too Henry" Said Mary-Margret as she shoved her face in front of the mirror
"No... This is a trick" Said Henry
"No it's not! Henry I promise you this is real! Kid it's operation cobra rescue!" Said Emma
"Your here?" Henry asked
"Yeah! We're coming to get you!" Said Regina
"There's someone coming" He said "It's Pan! I gotta go!"
"Henry! We love you!" I said as he dropped the mirror and walked away. We had been able to talk to him! He was ok! We headed back to the camp
"He's ok!" Said Emma
"You know this how?" Regina asked
"Because he's our son and he's a survivor, and now he has something to survive for. He knows we're coming and were not gunna let him down" Said Emma
"I'm sorry I doubted you" Said Mary-Margret "I just... I know how easy it is to give into darkness. I didn't want you to..."
"She didn't. I did. That's what I'm here for. One happy family" Said Regina. Suddenly we heard a bunch of twigs snapping, we all pulled out or weapons, me and Regina had fireballs at the ready. But luckily it was just David and Hook. They hadn't found the sextant but they were both surprisingly in a good mood! David went straight to Grandma and started full on making out
"Gross!" I said
"What I would give for another sleeping curse right now!" Said Regina
"Hook... he saved my life" Said David
"Are you sure you want to tell them that mate?" Hook asked
"On our way, we were ambushed by lost boys. Pinned down, out numbered. But Hook, he risked his life to stop me from getting hit by a poisoned arrow. If it wasn't for hi, I wouldn't be alive. Your flask please. I thought he deserved a little credit" Said David taking a drink and handing it round
"To Hook" Said Mary-Margret passing the flask to me "Oh.. um" She said unsure if she could give it to me. I didn't give her a choice, I took the flask and had a swig before passing it to Emma
"Don't get all boring now your a hero" I said walking away.
