Chapter 10

It took a while, but finally we came home. Hook and I... drove? I'm not sure on pirate terminology, but anyway, we drove the ship together all night. It was fun, he tried to teach me how to navigate using the stars but it became light soon so we didn't have enough time for me to understand it properly! When we landed, most of the town war there to welcome us back! They were all cheering for us and hugging us when we got off the ship, happy to see us and Henry safe!

"Ruby!" I yelled running over to her and kissing her till I had to take a breath! I was so engrossed with her I felt dizzy as our lips pulled apart!

"I missed you!" She said

"I missed you more!" I replied before i continued kissing her! After we had calmed down a bit, I noticed Regina looking uncomfortable. No one wanted to see her, she had no one cheering for her. I walked over to her and clutched her arm

"Can I stay with you tonight? I miss my own bedroom" I said

"Of course" She replied kissing the top of my head

"We owe a lot of it to her! Regina helped save us all" Mary-Margret yelled looking over at Mom. The rest of the town did as well before they clapped a bit for her. They were still clearly angry at her, which was understandable after everything she had done, but they seemed to be more accepting of her now, at least more than they ever have!

"So what about that Shadow?" David asked looking up at the sail

"Don't worry, it's trapped. Just as it was in the candle. The only person that can free it is safely in here" Said Gold

"Hey, Mom, Dad. What about Felix? He's still free" Said Henry worried

"Henry's right. We can't just let Felix walk away free" Said Regina as we walked over to them

"Don't worry, we got plenty of cell space for this guy" David said grabbing his shoulder and walking away

"You're safe now, Henry" Said Emma. We all made our way to Gold's shop to lock Pandora's box away

"Once I seal the box in here, no one can break the spell but me" He said placing it under the floor and waving his hand over the hole so that it was covered and locked

"You're not going to do that?" Henry asked

"Believe me, I want Pan trapped as much as you" Said Gold

"Don't worry, Henry. He's not getting out of there" Said Neal

"We won't let anything happen to you again, I promise" Said Regina

"She's right. You needn't worry. As long as I'm alive, that boy will never see the light of day" Said Gold. Once Pan was locked away, we headed to Granny's for some dinner. I sat in a booth with Henry. It was awkwardly quiet, but he seemed happy, and so was I. Emma came and joined us. She placed his book in front of him and he stared at it blankly.

"Well, don't get too excited. Neal still had it in his room. We thought you'd want it. Especially since you just lived a fairy tale of your own" She said

"Right. Thanks" He said awkwardly

"You okay?" Emma asked sceptically

"Yeah. Why?" He replied. Emma didn't reply

"I'm going to see Ruby" I said making an excuse to leave the tension. I walked over to Hook who was in the middle of a conversation with Neal

"I've made a decision when it comes to Emma. I'm gonna back off" He said

"What?" I asked

"Back off?" Neal asked

"For the sake of the boy. Let his parents have a fair shot without a... devilishly handsome pirate standing in the way" Hook said
