Chapter 8

Tink led us to Pan's compound. Hook and I kept talking and getting to know each other. It was weird how he was starting to feel like family! As we kept walking, we heard someone walking towards us. We all pulled out our choice of weapon and prepared ourselves for a fight in case it was some lost boys.

"If this is this your idea of a rescue mission, we got here just in time" Said Regina as she walked towards us followed by Gold

"Mom!" I yelled running over to her and hugging her. I had wanted to go after her earlier but I couldn't. It felt like I hadn't seen her in ages although I knew it had only been a matter of hours.

"What are you doing here?" Mary-Margret asked

"Same as you, except we actually have a chance. Pandora's box. It could trap Pan for eternity simply by opening the lid" Said Regina

"You didn't tell me my father was with her" Said Neal to Emma

"Wait your father is the dark one?" Tink asked

"Yeah and he's not getting anywhere near Henry. There's a prophecy that said Henry would be his undoing. He didn't come here to protect him. He came here to kill him" Said Neal

"That's why you didn't want to find Neal before you got Henry back" Said Regina to Gold "Because you knew he'd spill your secret"

"Everything I did was to protect Henry. To recuse him from Pan" Said Gold

"It all makes sense now. You left before we even made shore. You wanted to get to Henry first. To be on his own. So no one could stop you. So you can kill him. It's not going to happen, not unless you go through all of us first" Said Emma as we all held our weapons out to Gold making sure he stayed back

"I don't care if the boy is to be my undoing. I won't hurt him" Said Gold

"Because that sounds just like you" Said Regina

"You tortured me for fun, if Henry is going to be your undoing, of course you would kill him. It's what you do no matter how hard you think Belle has changed you!" I said holding my fireball

"Without me, you will fail. I'm the most powerful among us" Said Gold

"Actually, I'd say Hope is" Regina muttered to herself. I heard what she said and made a mental note to ask her why she thought that!

"Your power is the reason we can't trust you" Said Neal

"If I could give you my dagger, I would. But I can't" Said Gold

"You can give me Pandora's box. I don't have to trust you if I can stop you" Said Neal. Gold handed the box over "Look at me. If you so much as lift a finger to perform magic, you will spend an eternity in this box" Neal threatened before we continued on our way to the camp.

"Can I ask you something?" I said to Regina

"Sure" She replied

"Why did you say you thought I was more powerful than the dark one?" I asked

"Oh you heard that? Well... your magic is special. It's different. You didn't have to learn any of it. You could just do it without thinking. It's not how normal people learn magic. The way you make fire especially is... well it's amazing!" Said Mom

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah" She replied

"That doesn't make me more powerful than Gold though" I said

"Well, I am powerful, almost as powerful as Gold, but you are way more powerful than I am" She said. We walked the rest of the way in silence as I thought about what she had said. Mary-Margret interrupted my thought when she asked about Pandora's box
