I look outside and see the black clouds are going away and frown.
"AV, could you please make it rain some more, the clouds are going away!" She looks back at me and gives me an amused smile and then the clouds start coming back.
"Thank you!" I say. I love storms, they are so exciting. If we weren't on a bridge right now, the ground would probably be trembling with happiness as much as I am right now.
"So, is anyone hungry?" Alina says, pointing at a sign for exit 39.
"I am!" I say immediately. I've been hungry for like forever!
"Me!" Ammon says next to me, his pale brown hand shooting up. His hand waves fast in the air and then falls back down.
"I'm so hungry I could eat a whole buffet!" AV says and rubs her stomach.
"Ok, so what do you guys want?" Alina says, pulling off of the highway.
"I want pasta!" I say, eager to eat.
"Me too!" Ammon says after me.
"I'm good with that. Arktivice, what about you?"
"Yeah, I could go for pretty much anything." Alina goes on her phone, or Akira , looking for an Italian restaurant close by.
"I got it, a restaurant called Maggiano's. It's only 2 minutes away and right next to a movie theater. It's even in a mall!"
"Well then, food here we come!" Everyone smiles.

We pull into the parking lot in front of the restaurant and get out of the car. As soon as I'm out, I see AV has wings on her back so I grab her hand.
"AV, you have wings?"
"Uh, I forgot about those. Hold up." She sits in the back seat for a moment. When she comes back out her wings are gone and there is not a single sign that she had any at all. The way her power works is that nothing she wears ever gets ripped or anything. It just disappears. Or at least part of it does.
"Thanks, I don't think people would have taken a girl with wings that well."
"No problem!" I say and I skip ahead of the others. As I skip, I don't look where I'm going and trip into the middle of the road. A car comes towards me at like 40 mph and I quickly make a bridge over me. The car rides over the bridge so smoothly that it's like there wasn't ever one at all.
I walk out from underneath the bridge and it becomes the road again.
"Sierra, are you ok?" Alina says, she got here almost a full minute before the others.
"Yeah, just wasn't paying attention."
"You're sure?" She says. She looks really worried and I feel bad. I don't want her to worry about me.
"Yeah, don't worry."
"Alright. Just, let's try to stay together from now on."
"Ok." Alina tells the boys that I'm ok, and we all go into the restaurant together. When we go in, there are dark wooden square tables, with red and white checkered tablecloths. Most of them are filled. They have matching wooden chairs and Italian food topping stuff on top. There are wall lamps everywhere and even a floor above to eat at.
"Wow! This place is fancy!" I say, my voice filled with wonder.
"Yeah, Florida sure likes to go all out." Ammon says, and I see
Alina smile and shake her head.
"This is nothing compared to the restaurants I would go to when I was famous."
