How is she holding up with that prisoner? I wonder to myself, her lovely face coming to mind.
"Can we go back inside now?!" Ammon asks, standing up and pacing. Before I can say anything, one of Alina's portals opens up in front of him. I look through the portal to see where he went, and see him on the couch in the house. Forttarmon is quick to follow, stepping through the portal and sitting on the couch as well. That portal closes and another opens, revealing Alina, so vibrant, she could be glowing.
"Well Darling, you sure like to make an entrance!" I say, giggling, my heart fluttering like an anxious butterfly.
"Yeah, I guess it was alright~" Alina replies, blushing and hiding it.
"Cutie." I say, walking up and kissing her cheek.
"No way, you are!" Alina exclaims, picking me up and twirling me around. I can't help but laugh, my heart pounding with excitement and the feeling of hope, creating a bubbly joy inside me. She stops, smiling at me with those beautiful green eyes. We just look at each other, for what seems like forever. I lean into her hugging her as tight as possible.
"I love you." I say, she squeezes me back, not nearly as hard as I am though.
"I love you too, forever and ever and always." She whispers, kissing the top of my head. I blush harder and look up, gazing into her eyes.
"Oh my lord, what are we thinking!" I exclaim pulling away from her. "This can't work out, we're just kids! Ugh!"
"What do you mean it can't work out?" Alina asks me, her eyes showing worry, and the world around us dimming.
"I mean, we're not even legally the age to get married or anything, neither one of us has a job or even all of our education." I say, tears welling up in my eyes.
"I can wait." Alina says, holding my hands in hers. "I'll wait an eternity if I have to, but first we have to destroy the Hunters, so that we can have a family. So that our children won't be afraid. You have a spot on your shirt."
"What, where?!" I ask, embarrassed. She points towards the collar of the shirt and I look down.
"Haha, gotcha!" She says, booping my nose.
"Hey, that's not fair, it's payback time!" I say, trying to boop her nose. She dodges me fairly easily, kissing me every time I miss.
"I win!" Alina boops my nose for the second time, so when she's not paying attention, I boop her back.
"Nope, I win." I say, triumphantly.
"Okay Princess, you win." Alina says with fake disappointment and a smile.
"Yes!" Kissing her on the cheek, I wink at her and I swear she looks like she's gonna faint for a second. She giggles and my heart leaps with joy and I giggle too.
"I love you!" I say, I can't help it, I just feel so bubbly inside.
"I love you too." She says with a smile, her eyes meeting mine.
"I love you more!" I reply, my cheeks heating up when she brushes her fingers over them.
"I love you the most, I love you more than anything in the world, I love you with all my heart and soul." She replies and my heart skips a beat.
"Awe, you're so cute." I say adoringly and she blushes even harder.
"So are you!" She replies, giving me a light push and I can tell she's consciously making note of how hard she does it, trying to be careful.
"No way, you are!" I don't push her back, instead I pull her close to me and kiss her. A kiss so perfect it could only come from a dream. Heat emanates from our bodies, mine starting from my core and outward. The touch of her lips on mine so warm and light, causes me to melt into her. All the worry and sadness, replaced by the need of her, my hands touching her hair, my fingers curling into the black and red accents of it. My whole life, I've never felt this joyful or at peace with myself. I've never felt so loved and understood and unafraid. Now standing here with her, I feel whole, like I am free, no longer having a part of me darkened by the world.
My hands escape her silky hair and reach the small of her back. All thoughts vanish from my brain as she presses closer to me. I become gratefully overwhelmed by it and melt into it. Just Alina and I, no one else and nothing else. I can feel a shift in me, like the one when we first kissed. Love and life seep into me, making us spiritually, one. A link is formed between us, like a rope. Like a promise. An I love you forever, promise.
As we finally part, I can see her smile is so big, but a single tear falls from her left eye. My smile falters, unsure of what's going on.
"I love you Arktivice, you are gorgeous and smart, intelligent and amazing. Thank you for being here for me, Twilight Princess." She says, a second tear falling, but from her right eye this time.
"I love you too, Alina, but you don't have to cry." I say, and she beams at me, her words touch my heart and I can't help but giggle, the same time she does. I lift her chin up slightly, using my finger.
"I know, I'm just so happy!" She exclaims, sniffling and laughing at the same time.
"I am too Darling, I am too." I reply, holding her against me. How could anyone want to take away what makes someone who they are? I wonder, worrying about what would happen if the Hunters found us again~
