NINETEEN (Ammon)

"What are we gonna have for dinner tonight?" Fort asks, rubbing his growling stomach. Alina sighs.

"What do you want?" She asks.

"Can we all share loaded nachos?" He replies.

"Sure, I'll be right back." She walks through a portal and five minutes later comes back with a Chili's nacho plate.

"Here you guys go!" She says. AV uses her powers to make the forest denser around us, to the point where all the branches wrap around each other and you can barely squeeze in between trees. She also makes it so that plants make a house and to where everything is waterproof. She checked. Basically, we are now in an everything-proof bubble large enough to fit a school and it's completely disguised.

"Sweet!" I say, digging right into the nachos. They have chicken, shredded cheese, black beans, jalapeños, Skillet Queso with beef. Served with pico & sour cream. My first bite soon becomes my second and my third.

"This is so good!" Fort exclaims and I give an enthusiastic, "Mmhmm!"

"Good, we have something to tell you guys." AV says, grabbing hold of Alina's hand, causing them both to blush. Oh boy, their dating aren't they.

"We're dating!" Alina says.

"Knew it!" Fort and I say at the same time. The new couple both look at us in surprise.

"What do you mean you knew it?" AV asks.

"You both have been swooning over each other ever since we've met you guys, I thought you guys would start dating sooner." I say, shrugging.

"It really was that easy to see?" Alina says, exchanging a look with AV.

"Yep." I say and Fort nods.

"You guys are like a cheesy teenage romance." Fort says, playfully and they both blush.

"Oh and you guys should try to do better with pretending you didn't stop time." Fort adds. Making them both go crimson.

"Come on, let's give them space, race you!" I say, running into the house, up the stairs and into a bedroom. I put my bags on the floor and start unpacking.

"I call the top bunk!" Fort says, rushing up the ladder.

"Alright, I'm better with the bottom bunk anyway." I reply. I take out a mattress from a portal that Alina kept up and running in my backpack. I put the mattress on the bed frame and put my bedding on it.

"Dude, you can make portals too!" He exclaims.

"No, it's just one Alina left open so that I can get mattresses out. I'll get yours, what do you prefer?"

"Medium." He says, so I go into the portal. I make my trip quick, since there are probably security cameras.

"Got it!" I call when I come back through. The portal closes behind me and I hear a voice in my head, which makes me jump.

"You're welcome!"

"Thanks? Who is this?" I ask the feminine voice.

"Alina, obviously, who else would it be?" Alina says and I have the feeling that she rolled her eyes.

"I don't know, I just didn't know who it was. Also, since when did you get a new power?"

"A while ago." She says.

"Lucky, you go have your girl time. Us boys will have our boy time."

"Alright, don't burn the house down."
