"Janny!" Remus called, soaking wet with a plastic bag that he probably got from the sea in his hand. "I caught food for the human!"

"Is it edible food?" Janus asked.

"I don't know, I just grabbed and killed a bunch of fish and oysters."

Janus sighed, holding out his hand for the bag. "I'll cook it, I don't trust you to not poison our guest."

"A little death never hurt anyone."

"What part of he's human do you not understand? Don't you remember what happened to the last guy that killed one of Romulus's human lovers?"

"Oh that demon's screams were delightful! I think he still hasn't found all of his limbs! Romulus didn't torture him with divine weapons for a reason, he didn't want the sucker to die."

"If that human is his lover, or potential lover, or even someone that has a contract with your brother and you kill him! Then Romulus will skewer you alive!"

"Well I would sure hope so! Torture doesn't work when you're dead."

"Give me the stupid fish!"

Remus pouted, "Fine."

He tossed the bag over and Janus caught it. "Thank you, dear, now you should go check on your brother."

"Ugh, he's such a pain! You didn't see me crying when I got stabbed by a holy weapon."

"He didn't cry he passed out."

"Tomato to-mah-to," Remus grumbled as he walked off.

"Also you did cry!" Janus called off before turning around to prepare a meal for the human.

"Also you did cry," Remus repeated in a mocking voice. He teleported into the room he put Romulus in. "Wakey wakey, barf for brains!"

Roman groaned before he opened his eyes. His vision was fuzzy so he squinted at Remus, his back was numb.

"Oh come on, I numbed the pain already!" Remus complained. "I don't like playing doctor!"

"No... you're more like a mad pathologist," Roman mumbled.

"I do like looking at dead bodies!"

Roman whimpered, "My head hurts."

"Well, you were burned with holy water and then stabbed by a holy knife, so yeah! Of course you're hurting!"

"Where-where's Virgil?"

"Oh, that kid? I've been meaning to ask why he's special enough for you to bring him here-"

Roman jumped up in bed and grabbed Remus's shirt, pulling him close. "Where. Is. Virgil?"

Remus got over his shock and giggled madly. "So he is special to you. He's resting in one of the rooms Janny brought him to. Janny's making him something to eat right now."

Roman sighed in relief and let Remus go, laying back down in bed. "Thank goodness."

"That's no way for a demon to talk."

"I'm not in the mood."

"I am! So, are you gonna tell me what happened to you? And why, now of all times, you decide to finally call in that favor?"

"What has Virgil told you so far?"

"Nothing, the kid was scared out of his mind when you two appeared here. Smart enough, he didn't trust me or Janus, he just told us his name and said you go by Roman now. Oh, also that you met at a human school?"
