Patton pulled Virgil into a hug and Zoe ran up to him, jumping around all excited to see him again.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Patton asked, pulling away from the hug and grabbing Virgil's face. "Gosh you're so pale right now."

"I'm fine, I'm just tired," Virgil said, pushing Patton's hands away.

"You're hand, it was on fire a moment ago," Logan pointed out. "It was a purple fire."

Virgil glanced at his hand, it seemed perfectly normal at the moment. But he knew it was on fire. "I guess I just finally learned how to do that."

"Sure, why not?" Logan said, crossing his arms and shrugging.

"Okay, so who are these two humans again?" Remus asked.

"That's Patton and his boyfriend, Logan," Roman told him. "Patton is Virgil's uncle. On his mother's side, obviously."

"Okay, we really need to go home like right now," Virgil said, standing up before stumbling forward.

Roman got up and quickly caught him before he fell. He set him back down on the bed. "You need to rest. You just survived an explosion and I'm sure your body healed itself from it. That takes a lot of energy, especially since you used a lot of energy yesterday."

"I can't rest, Lucifer-Dad- I don't know what to call him. He said we need to leave."

"You spoke to Lucifer?" Janus asked.

"Yeah, I think so? He was in my dream."

"He does like to talk to people in their dreams," Patton mumbled.

"Did he tell you why we need to leave?" Roman asked.

Virgil gave him a look that the demon couldn't quite read. "He said the angels will soon find out that I'm alive."

Roman hissed out, "Ethan."

"You saw him?"

"He told us where you guys were. It could be a trick, but he seems like he seriously wants you to live. I don't trust him, but it seemed like he was right."

"If he wants me to live, then why would he tell the others I'm alive?"

"I don't know, but if Lucifer told you they will find out you're alive soon then they will. We need to get you to safety before they do."

"Then we'll head back home," Patton decided. "We'll be protected there, I've prepared for attacks there."

"Divine attacks?" Remus asked.

"Yes, divine attacks. Also burglars but mostly divine attacks."

"We won't be able to go by air," Janus warned. "Airplanes fly too close to the Heavens, and we don't want to find out how desperately the angels want to kill Virgil."

"Then how will we get home? We don't have a car here," Patton said.

"I can summon my car," Roman offered. "So, I can drive us back home."

Virgil had his elbow propped up on the car door as he rested his head. He was stuck in the middle of the red suburban that Roman's car had turned into, it had three rows of seats in it.

He glanced at Roman who was driving the car on a highway, following google maps to the hotel they're going to stay at for the night.

He remembered his dream, and what Lucifer had shown him. Everything had frozen right after Remus and Janus fell, so Virgil didn't see Roman fight the other angels. They had said he didn't kill any of the angels, but he had apparently hurt some.
