she wears your sweater

Solar lifted her head from your shoulder and untangled her legs from yours.

"Where are you going?" You asked and tried to cling to her, only for her to send you that sweet smile and kiss your cheek.

"Just a little cold. I'm going to go change into something warmer. I'll be right back." She said and walked up the stairs before you even got the chance to offer to pull the blanket off the couch and let her curl up with it.

You paused the movie. You knew it was gonna be much more uninteresting without her there with you. You honestly didn't like it all that much, but she was loving it so far, so you were happy to let it play as long as you got to hold onto her throughout it.

Upstairs, she was digging through her clothes in search of something warmer to wear. She shivered slightly and reached for the first thing she saw. She pulled at the fabric until it was almost all the way off the hanger, only one sleeve remaining there.

But then, from the corner of her eye, she spotted your sweater hung up right behind it. She recognized it right away. It's your favorite. You wear it a lot and you always stay warm and snug.

She pulled it off the hanger while hers fell onto the floor. She didn't pay it any mind and pulled the warm sweater over her head. She closed her eyes with a contented sigh, finding that she was much cozier with your sweater on it.

She breathed in and your smell filled her lungs instantly.

Only a few seconds later, she was making her way down the stairs.

Although she was only gone for a couple of minutes, you were more than happy when you heard her footsteps on the stairs as she made her way back to you.

You hit play on the remote and opened your arms for her to lay in without looking away from the film. She placed her head on your chest and softly brushed her lips along your neck, a few sweet and innocent kisses following the first.

You put your arms around her to hold her tight, a soft sigh falling from your lips as her lips continued to brush along your skin. You gazed down at her and your heart nearly beat out of your chest when you saw that she was wearing your sweater.

She stared up at you with stars in her eyes, making the moment even more special.

"That's my sweater?"

She nodded.

"I was gonna wear one of mine, but this is much warmer and softer than mine." She explained, her voice soft as she spoke sweetly. "And it smells like you. If I go on tour anytime soon, I'm gonna have to steal it from you."

"I'd be alright with that." You replied, a flutter in your heart as she leaned in to brush the tip of her nose against yours.

"You look so cute." You whispered, pressing a libidinous kiss on her neck. "Irresistible," you whispered again, this time right in her ear, causing butterflies to fill her entire chest. "You just make me fall more in love with you every single day."

She intertwined your fingers together and then pushed her lips onto yours. She sighed into the kiss and relished in the taste of your lips.

The movie became background noise as she pulled you closer and kissed you deeply, knowing that this was a much better way to spend her day off.
