Solar pulled into the parking spot on the street as she arrived at the bar you and your friends are at tonight.

She's completely exhausted. It's nearing two in the morning and she just got out of practice an hour or so ago.

She knew you'd be going out with your friends tonight and she was okay with that. You work hard, you deserve to have a night out with your friends here and there.

She didn't expect the call from one of your friends just a few minutes after she got out of practice, asking if she can come pick you up.

Of course, she made her way to the bar as fast as she could, fighting her exhaustion and her body aches so she could get you home.

She got out of the car and locked it behind her.

Walking inside the bar, she was met with the nearly overwhelming scent of alcohol and the loud chatter coming from the loud and, quite frankly, annoying strangers.

You were at the front with your friends, laughing about something that probably only drunk you found hilarious.

You were trying to drink the almost empty glass on the counter in front of you, although your friends were very insistent on you not drinking it.

"Oh, Solar. Thank gosh you're here!" One of your friends said as Solar walked to you, her hand falling onto your back.

"Thank you for calling." Solar sighed in relief.

"She's so drunk." Another said.

"I can tell." Solar frowned. "Okay, sweet girl. Let's go home."

Your friends helped you stand up and Solar put her hand on your hip, only for you to push it away.

"Don't do that!"

Solar jumped in surprise.

"I'm sorry, baby."

"Don't call me that! I'm not your baby. I have a girlfriend!"

It took a second for it to sink in and when it did, your friends and Solar burst out laughing.

"I know you have a girlfriend, my love. I am your girlfriend."

You shook your head.

"No, you're not. My girlfriend's name is Solar. She's perfect and we're very in love."

Solar smiled at the last part, her eyes lighting up.

"So I'm not going home with you! Only Solar."

"Okay, baby girl. I'm sorry." She spoke softly, placing her hand on your arm comfortingly.

She brushed her thumb along your arm and felt relaxed a little when you recognized her touch.

"Solar," you smiled.

"Hi, pretty girl."

She held you close when you put your arms around her.

"You're here! I didn't know you were coming. I missed you!"

"Oh, baby, I missed you so much." She whispered and kissed your head.

"Can we go home?"

"Of course." She smiled.

As she walked you out to the car, she kept her arm around your waist and your things in her hands.

"Solar, please don't be mad when I tell you what I'm about to say."

"Why would I be mad, baby?" She frowned as she unlocked the car and helped you into the passenger seat.

"Because another girl tried to get me to go home with her before you got here!"

She buckled you up and bit her lip to hold back her laugh.

"Oh?"

"Yeah. But I told her no! I said that we're in love and told her I'm not going home with anyone but you."

"Oh, baby, that's very sweet." She smiled and kissed your cheek. "How about we go home now? Go into bed and cuddle and go to sleep?"

"Okay. I'll sleep now though."

She giggled and got into the driver's seat as she started the car.

"Do you mind if I throw up in the car, Solar?"

She went wide-eyed.

But she shook her head with a small smile, knowing if you're that drunk you can't help it.

But, much to get relief, she saw that you were falling asleep.

"I love you, baby. Sleep well."

She started to drive home, excited to tease you about all of this in the morning, while also seriously hoping that she could make it home without you throwing up in the car.
