Stirring in your girlfriend's embrace, you slowly opened your eyes and lifted your head from her chest.

"Sleep well?" She asked as she turned her gaze from the movie she was watching and to you.

"Yeah." You mumbled sleepily and shifted around, feeling an ache in your body as you did so. "Babe?"

"Yeah?" Solar said, keeping her eyes on the tv screen.

"I need some water."

She turned away from the tv and looked at you in annoyance.

"I got you water a little while ago."

"Solar, that was three hours ago. It's warm and almost gone. Can you please get me some more?"

She breathed out a long and heavy sigh before she got up from the sofa and went into the kitchen.

You couldn't help but frown when you realized how upset she seemed with you.

She's the one who wanted to take care of you and told you that if you needed anything, all you had to do was say so and she'd get it for you.

"Here." She said as she put a cold bottle of water on your lap before sitting down on the sofa.

"Thank you?" You said as you gazed at her with a look of confusion. "Why are you mad at me?"

"I'm not." She spoke.

Well, you didn't believe that.

But you dropped it because you felt much too sick to argue with her.

"Babe, in a little while can you make me some soup? I think I'm finally getting a little appetite for some."

"Sure, whatever." She said.

"What's wrong? And don't say it's nothing because you're upset with me and I can tell."

"I'm just trying to watch this movie, Y/N! It's hard to do when you're being so needy and won't let me sit down to just watch it. I've worked hard lately, let me rest."

"I'm not trying to be annoying or needy. But you said that if I needed something, you'd get it for me because you wanted to care for me while I've got the flu."

She got up with a huff and went into the kitchen.

You followed her, watching as she searched through the cabinets while she grumbled under her breath.

"What are you doing?"

"Making you some soup so I can get it done and over with and focus!"

"I didn't want it right this minute. I'm a little nauseous right now."

She slammed the cabinet door shut before looking at you across the room with her arms folded.

"Fine, tell me when you want it. It's not like I have anything better to do with my time than to wait on you hand and foot."

"Why are you being like this?" You asked as you walked to her. "I can make it myself if it's that big of a deal. You don't have to be so mean about it!"

She raised her hand as she clenched her jaw, brushing her fingers through her hair with a groan.

But even though she was only frustrated and was simply brushing her hair in annoyance, you didn't think that.

At least not at first.

As she raised her hand, you saw the frustrated look in her eyes and thought that she was going to hurt you.

You stepped back and turned your face, covering it with your hands.

In shock, Solar froze.

Slowly lowering your hands and turning your head, you met her sad eyes.

The look of frustration in her eyes was long gone.

Now, she looked... hurt.

"Y/N... did you think I was about to hit you?"

Your emotions got the best of you as you began to feel overwhelmed and you turned around to head to the stairs, running up them to your room as she followed behind you.

"Baby!" She said as you ran into the room, closing the door before she could get in.

She knocked on the door as you turned the lock and sat on the bed.

"Y/N, baby, I swear to you I'm not going to hurt you. I would never hurt you. I was frustrated, yes. But I would never take it out on you."

She was only met with silence in return.

"I love you so much, way too much to ever lay my hands on you. I swear to you, I was not going to hit you and I never will."

A couple of seconds later, the lock turned again before the door opened.

You stood there with tears in your eyes and as she threw her arms around you to pull you close, you felt relief and blinked away the tears.

"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for everything I said and for getting so frustrated with you."

"I didn't mean to be so annoying, Solar."

"No, baby, you aren't annoying. You never are. I'm just really tired and stressed and I got frustrated. I didn't mean anything that happened back there."

"I know." You sighed. "I'm sorry for making you do everything for me."

"You have the flu, baby. It's okay that you can't do much on your own right now. Let me make it up to you. Go get into bed and I'll cuddle you after I go get your water and turn the tv off downstairs."

"Okay." You agreed. "I love you."

"I love you more, baby. Again, I'm truly sorry." She said as she brushed her fingers across your back. "Get cozy. I'll give you all the cuddles you want and make it all up to you."

You sent her a small smile before you got into bed.

She came over and tucked you in before kissing your head and leaving the room, relieved that everything was okay between you again.
