Harry peaks over the tops of the heads that have filled the hallway. School just got out on a Friday which means everyone is meandering about and getting ready for after-school sports or whatever other plans they have for the rest of the day.

It also means that people aren't walking swiftly through the hallways like normal which is making it 5x slower to get out the front doors compared to usual. Harry has to be at work soon but he is hoping to catch Louis before he starts getting ready for practice. The locker rooms have their own building though and Harry knows for a fact that Louis heads there straight after his last class which is a lot closer than Harry's.

He finally makes it past everyone, without too much pushing, and heaves the front door open. The second he makes it outside, the cold, fresh air hits him in the face and he takes off running in the direction of the locker room. He's got one arm slung behind his back to keep his bag from flying off where it's dangling on his right shoulder and his curls bouncing across his forehead as he swerves around his classmates.

Harry eventually slows back down once he sees Louis walking and talking animatedly with Calum towards the change rooms. Louis is too focused on whatever he's talking about to notice his presence though, so Harry takes it as a rare chance to take him in, slowing down his stride to get a better view. He wishes he could hear whatever Louis is so excited about, but Harry also feels pretty content just admiring how beautiful Louis looks right now. He's smiling wide as he talks, Harry can practically see the sparkle in his eyes from 30 metres away, and is moving his hands in time with his words.

The feeling of Louis' lips has remained at the forefront of Harry's brain since their kiss on Friday night. The second their lips touched, he realised how long he had been yearning for it. He'd been so focused, so adamant, on not allowing himself to have even some sort of semblance of romantic feelings for his friends in fear of pushing them away, that it wasn't until he actually got what he wanted did Harry realise that he's always felt something more towards Louis. He'd just never thought that anything could come out of it so he never let himself actually consider it.

Regardless of constantly thinking about it, they haven't shared another kiss since. Even though on Monday they both agreed they liked each other, nothing else has come of it... yet. Louis has been pretty busy with football and Harry with work and 5SOS. Plus, they both have school and, well, homework. They have talked on the phone pretty much every night though. Harry likes that they actually talk to one another rather than just text or snapchatting or something, makes it feel more romantic.

Harry wants Louis so bad, he wants everything the boy has to offer, but it's hard to judge where Louis' at and Harry agreed that they would take it slow. Doesn't mean he hasn't thought about everything they can do together now that he knows Louis is willing. He has pretty much wanked to the thought every night in the shower this past week...

Louis finally catches Harry looking and waves him over.

"Hey Hazza." Harry grins at him, he wishes he could hold Louis close, but Calum is standing right there and Harry knows that Louis is still getting used to the idea of everyone knowing about their relationship. As long as he stays open to the idea, Harry thinks to himself. That's all that matters, plus he has already told Tessa. This doesn't mean that Harry is back to hiding in the closet.

"Hi Lou, hey Cal." Harry greets back. "Looking forward to later?"

"Yeah, definitely. I'm still picking you up at six-thirty right?" Louis questions.

"Yup, we close at six so I'll definitely be good to go by then. Just pull up in front of the bakery."

"Okay. We're supposed to be done with practice by six today but sometimes Coach tries to keep us late... I'll try to use my captaincy powers to make sure we get out on time though." Louis wiggles his eyebrows and flashes Harry one of those rare smiles that he is pretty sure is solely for him. "We'll see you then."
