Under the mountains, beyond the river fallen from the waterfall source. Beyond the plains, was the Sioux tribe territory. The colour of the grass should have turned yellow by autumn, but it was still green. It was amazing to see that the grass was still fresh. By the rocks of the canyon, wild mustangs lived, away from civilisation, they only rarely came out from the hidden.
The herd of wild mustangs were guided and protected by a young 4 years old stallion named Baringa. He was the fastest of them all, he was the great protector that this herd needed. Unlike other wild herds, Baringa's herd always kept hidden so that men could not catch them and take them away. They relied on their ghost like movements in order to survive, one minute they would be grazing on on grass and the other they would have vanish from sight, they as well use a hidden canyon that only the wild herd could access.
