As soon as I've heard that voice, I froze. I can't figured out what should I do or how will I act or what to say to her. I felt really scared. My hands are sweaty but my throat, it feels dry. Jessey, my bestfriend since grade school caught me in the most awkward situation that I've been through.
But Kiefer just stayed cool and seemed relaxed. He held my waist tightly and whispered to me breathe in, breathe out Baby. Let me handle this. You know I love you right? So trust me.
Then he walked near to Jessy.
"Oh my God Bhie. Di ko kinaya eto. I'm really drunk na talaga." Jessey said then chuckled while shaking her head. Then in a snap of time she passed out. Luckily Kiefer was fast enough to catch her. He carried Jessey then put her at the passenger's seat of his car. I chose to sat with Jessey so that I can put her head into my lap.
"Jess Oh my God! Jess wake up!" I was freaking out. Pero si Kiefer natatawa lang.
"Ey why are you smiling there?" I asked him. I'm irritated at the same time still nervous and worried. Kagulo na ung utak at emotions ko tapos sya ngingiti lang. Ang sarap nya pektusan.
"It's your fault that's why your best friend ends like that. Nahimatay sya makita na nikikiss kita Baby. Kaw kasi di napigil manghinge ng kiss yan tuloy." He teased then shook his head while looking at me hiding a mischievous grin on his face.
I was just caressing Jessey's face for a while then decided to call the other lings to tell them that Jessey's with me and both of us are going home. I told them I'll drop off Jessey in her condo. They all agreed.
"Kief let's go home na." I told him.
"Baby where? Mine or yours?" He asked. Siraulo talaga. Alam nyang kasama namin si Jessey ngayon, tapos hihirit pa sya ng ganyan. I rolled my eyes to him. He just smirked.
"Sa condo ko please. I'll bring Jessey with me na lang paggising nya na lang tsaka ko sya ihahatid." I told him. He looked at me with his furrowed brows. Yung tipong akala mo napikon sya sa kalaro nya sa basketball.
"What? Baby nooo! Ok we will bring Jessey with us but you're going to sleep in my condo tonight. Si Jessey na lang patulugin mo sa condo mo." He said. Yung itsura nya mukhang nagtatatrums. Ang kulit nya. His insisting again what he wants. Gusto na naman maglambing nito for sure.
"Kief we cannot be together tonight. Naloloko ka na ba? Jessey just caught us a while ago." I told him, sounding irritated. But he just gave me a shrugged.
"Baby so? When Jessey wakes up dun pa lang magsasalita yan. Non sense bantayan ang tulog." He said. I know his a bit mad already.
"Kief kahit na. Yun nga mas natatakot ako pagising nya kasi di na sya lasing. I'm not ready sa sasabihin nya sakin." I told him.
"Baby she's your bestfriend. I know she will be upset at first but I know she'll understand you and us." He said then reached my other hand and kissed it. I just stared at him.
"Just so you know I love you. That's why I'm here. Don't be scared. Di lang ikaw ang nakita nya kundi dalawa tayo." He said. I just smiled at him.
Then he start his engine and went back to our condo. At dahil para iwas issue ako na ung bumuhat kay Jessey. Pasan ko sya until makapasok kami sa condo ko. Si Kiefer nagpahuli at nagpaiwan muna sa parking lot.
I laid Jessey into my bed. She was really wasted. Laklakin ba naman yung tequilla. I sighed then checked my phone. He send me a text message.
