I walked away, feeling Deacon's eyes watch me go. Outside the Church, I thought for a moment. What was the Railroad all about? What about the Brotherhood? I went to complete the missions for Rhys and Haylen. Afterwards, I decided to check out Goodneighbor. It was a unique town. The Memory Den was only for special patrons so I avoided that. I didn't bother going to Hotel Rexford for I still had no caps. I finally went to the Third Rail for a while. It reminded me of a casino back in my galaxy. Music, alcohol, just the games... I sat down at the bar. The robot was serving the drinks. I thought it was kinda like a protocol droid only in a different shape... ok... many differences...

"Eh. New customer. What can I get for you, darling." The robot, White Chapel Charlie, said.

"Don't call me that," I said coldly.

"Whatever. You buying, or what?"

"Sorry, don't have your currency right now." I responded.

"He. What do you have?" the robot asked.

"These credits." I said, showing him one.

"Mind as well throw those things out." the robot said. "Worth nothing."

"You think I don't know that?" I said, walking away.

A drifter looked up at me as I walked by. "Looking for Maccready? He's in back."

I didn't know what they were talking about but I walked to where they pointed.

"You done harassing me yet?" A man, Maccready, asked two brawly men.

"We're done. Come on, Barnes." the men walked past, ignoring me.

"Look, lady. If you're preaching about the atom, or looking for a friend, you've got the wrong guy. If you need a hired gun, we could make a deal." He said.

"Uh, who were those guys back there?" I asked.

"Those were Winlock and Barnes. Not liking my little business here. Of course, people don't want to even talk to an ex-gunner..." He said.

"What's a gunner?"

"Most organized mercenary group in the Commonwealth." He said.

"Like bounty hunters?"

"I guess. But they don't only hunt for wanted people. So, what have you got?"

"I uh... I don't have much... I just got here a couple of days ago." I explained.

"So you're new around here, huh?" He said.

"Yeah."

"How'd you get all that stuff?" He pointed at my bag.

"I had it ever since I got here... they're... important."

"To you." He said. "So let's make a deal. 250 caps, you have me at your side. No room for bargaining."

"I don't have any of that junk" I said. "Plus a jedi doesn't hang around a bounty hunter."

"As I thought about the gunner thing. Caps aren't junk... it's the only thing that'll keep you alive around here. From ammunition, food, water, a place to stay, blockades..."

"I don't need ammunition. I can survive without food or water, I can persuade my way through blockades, and I have ways to find rest." I said, choosing my words wisely.

"Nice plan. But still won't work. There are many strong headed raiders... mostly gunners out there who demand money fiercely... even in their sleep." He laughed. "So no caps, no deal."

"Yeah, whatever." I walked out of the room as he sat back down in his chair. I continued my way up the stairs. I needed a private place to meditate and regain my strength... maybe out of town... I went out of town and sat down in a hidden place and closed my eyes. I first thought about when I first came into Goodneighbor. A man named Finn stopped me and wanted everything I owned. I of course did not listen. I wasn't going to give my lightsaber to some random person. I refused and he said bad things will happen if not. A non feral ghoul came. He was the mayor of the place and he killed him. I tried to use the force to save Finn but I couldn't... oh well to that man. He asked if I was ok and I was obviously fine. He was impressed by my "looks'' but I had a taste of disgust for him. He told me he was in charge, said farewell, then went into the nearby building. I don't know if I want to go there again to be honest. I cleared my mind and started to gain strength again. Soon, I was up and went my way to the police station.
