We had gotten the vertibird and Tinker Tom was giving a rough ride but we made it to the Prydwen. I got caught before I could disguise myself or sneak through the place. I killed everyone on the Prydwen and had the soldiers from below shooting at us. I planted the charges and we have to run out of the blast range before time runs out. I had fallen behind on convincing and taking the squires down with us. The vertibird we used became full and there was no room for me.

"Maggie, I'll stay." Danse said.

"No. I can stay and jump from here. I have the Force." I said. Danse stepped forward but I pushed him onto the vertibird. "Go Tom!" I said. The vertibird flew off and Danse was calling out to me. I went to the railing and was about to jump to the nearest landform when the ship rocked and started falling. I rushed to the edge but was unable to jump across the railings. THe ship started to burn and it crashed onto the airport below. I felt the heat burn me and I fell down. I heard Danse run up, looking for me. His yells were muffled as I tried to get away from the wrecks I soon blacked out. I woke up to Danse hugging me.

"Danse" I croaked.

"It's ok, I got you." he said, cradling me.

"Danse," I breathed heavily. "There's no saving me. Destroy the Institute, may the Force be with you, always." I closed my eyes and I drifted away from my body, looking forward to seeing the other jedi. I could become a Force ghost and guide my friend through the uncharted paths ahead. I saw my master. I then knew he was dead.

"My young apprentice." he said. "You have done well. I am very proud."

"I don't know, master." I said. "I don't feel I did much."

"You did." he smiled. "Mark well and listen. You have been through many dangers, many things. You have a purpose down there. Once you do your goal, you can do the same somewhere else."

"But master, I don't know what to do correctly."

"You'll know. Use your brain, trust in the Force. Only in the Force." he said.

"I've been trying." I said. "But I don't feel right."

"You will, soon." he said. "May the Force be with you."

I felt myself being pulled back to life. I opened my body's eyes again to see Danse putting his hands on me with closed eyes. "Danse, what are you doing?" I asked, trying to sit up. The fiery wrecks were cooled off and my burns were gone.

"You deserve to live." he said, opening his eyes. "I love you with all my heart."

I still couldn't say I loved him back. I leaned into him though and hugged him. "I know." I said.

"Ad Victoriam." With that, he died right then and there. I started crying and rain started pouring. I used the Force to get rid of the clouds and kept crying. Faramir came to my side and howled sadly. I knew he made a grand sacrifice for the greater good. But he was my friend.
