I woke up the next day to a nightmare again. I felt fear and I knew it was the path to the dark side. I meditated, clearing away the thoughts about sith in the Commonwealth. I got up and ate some breakfast. After I spent some time with Faramir then hopped into my ship and went to the Prydwen. Once I got closer to the Brotherhood base, I swooped down and landed my ship nearby, locked it, then went into the airport. When I got to the Command Deck, I was immediately confronted by Elder Maxson.

"Ah, knight. We missed you last night." He said.

"Sorry, Elder." I said, even though I wasn't.

"We have our own bunkers on the Prydwen. I expect them to be used. Now, for other important matters, I have an op for you." He said. "We just got records of a rogue Institute scientist in the Glowing Sea. Name, Virgil. Find him and get any information about the Institute and bring it back to us. Do you understand?" He asked.

"Yes sir." I said.

"Very well. Dismissed."

I walked away, thinking that I needed to abandon them soon. I went up to the main deck and saw Danse in the mess hall.

"Ready to continue our mission, soldier?" He asked.

"I'm doing this alone Danse." I said. I didn't need to have him with me as I left the Brotherhood. I was going to Virgil to get the information but giving it to the Railroad. I didn't need any setbacks.

"Are you sure?" He asked. "You're going to the Glowing Sea."

"I know. I can perfectly handle everything myself." I said, walking to see the bunkers. There wasn't any privacy and they were regular beds, straw pillows, totally not what I was even used to. I went back down to the main deck and exited the Prydwen with Danse still following me.

"Danse, I told you no."

"I was assigned as your mentor. I'm coming." He said sternly. I kept walking. He then stepped forward and held my arm firmly. He was out of his power armor. "I don't want to have the Brotherhood lose you to you going alone on dangerous missions."

"Ah... Never thought of that." I smirked. "The Jedi council didn't care about my living. I had the Force." I said. "I have the Force."

"That doesn't matter." He said, walking to his power armor which was actually down at the airport.

"Danse, do understand I'm using my one person ship." I said.

"You don't need it then."

"I do. For one, it will be quicker and easier to fight the enemies and get there, for two, I'm doing this alone anyways." I said, crossing my arms.

"I'm coming." Danse said firmly. I sighed.

"Fine... let's go." I said, walking south. We soon came to the edge of the Glowing Sea.

"Alright. You need radiation protection" Danse said, putting on his power armor helmet.

"No I don't." I said. "The Force protects us."

"If you say so." He walked through the Glowing Sea. I followed and a deathclaw spotted us along with some stingwings. I used the Force to make the deathclaw kill the other enemies around first, then I lunged my lightsaber at it. I used both of my blades. I wasn't too used to it but I handled it. I decided I'll take it off once I get to a workbench and use one blade for now. I rushed through the crater of radiation with Danse and came across a cult.

"These are the children of atom." Danse said. "Radiation somehow doesn't turn them to ghouls but the radiation still got to their minds."

I nodded and went up to the leader. "Hi, I'm looking for Virgil. Has he passed by here?"

"Virgil? Yes we've seen him." the leader said. "Came to trade with us a few times. He's southwest in a cave. Be careful though, I feel he does not want visitors.

I felt that too and walked southwest and found a cave that was guarded by a deathclaw. Danse walked up behind me. "This deathclaw is sleeping. It makes a good advantage to fire." He said, loading his blaster.

"We should just-" I started but Danse aimed his gun and shot at the deathclaw who woke up and began charging at Danse. I sensed what was going to happen.

"Watch out Danse!" I yelled. I force slowed the deathclaw and swung my lightsaber at its belly. The deathclaw stumbled back and turned towards me, slashing its claws. I dodged and stabbed my lightsaber at its chin but it lifted me up and threw me onto the ground. I then feel unconscious.

I woke up. It was blurry and sounds were muffled. I must've woken up nly in a few minutes. I heard Danse grunting against the deathclaw which was still alive. I struggled to get up and my lightsaber flew to my hand as I force pulled it from somewhere. I ignited it, ready to fight the deathclaw again. I rushed at it, summoning all my power to me. I saw Danse was hurt and I slashed at the deathclaw. I dodged its attacks and finally put an end to the giant monster. I sprinted to Danse who was lying on the ground.

"Danse!" I cried. "It'll be alright." I remembered the last training session I had with my master before the purge. He was teaching me how to heal yourself and others. I was struggling to do it and he said don't give up hope and the session ended as we heard that the clones were "malfunctioning." I put my hand on Danse's wounds. I closed my eyes and did as I remembered what my master told me to do. I then saw what was inside of him. He has good in him... it just needs to be inspired. I saw sheets of metal as I healed him. I didn't know what that meant, though. Suddenly, Danse moved.

"What happened?" He asked, groaning.

"The deathclaw hurt you badly, but you're alright now." I smiled. He looked down at where his wounds would've been and they were gone. He had to ditch his power armor so I took out a hazmat suit I took from the Switchboard and gave it to him.

"Are you alright?" He asked, getting into the suit quickly.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"But it-"

"I'm fine." I said, taking his hand to go into the nearby cave. The deathclaw had gotten my arm pretty good and it was bleeding but I just wrapped it in my extra bandages and ignored the stinging pain. My other wound had healed by then too.

"Sorry I shot at it..." he mumbled.

"It's ok. It would've probably caught us anyway." I said, thinking about Deacon's debate with me at the Switchboard. As we went in, there were non - hostile turrets and some can chimes. "Stay here." I said. I used the force to pass the chimes without setting them off. Once I got to the end of the tunnel, I saw a super mutant.
