June 10th
The delicious smell of coffee filled the small apartment one last time while Gabie was doing her makeup staring at herself in the bathroom mirror.
She is moving in with Scar and Chris tomorrow because her lease is up and she's moving to LA in half a month anyway so there was no point in renewing it. Scarlett offered her to come stay with them in the mean time and Gabie accepted since it's what made the most sense.
She feels a little guilty about it though like if she is intruding on their intimacy as newly engaged couple but Scar and Chris on the other hand are absolutely stoked about it.
They have more than plenty of room in their town house and they already picked out a guest bedroom for her. They put extra fluffy blankets and pillows in there so she would feel more comfortable. As if they were adopting a child.
They'd been moving her stuff from her apartment to their house on the Upper East Side little by little over the last week. Gabie is not necessarily nostalgic about leaving her Soho apartment. She loves the neighbourhood but she has only lived there for a little over a year. She doesn't particularly have memories in there so she is more than ready to let it go.
Almost being ready, she was just adding a drop of her favorite Charlotte Tilbury cream blush on the top of her cheeks. Gabie loves makeup but she doesn't wear much on an everyday basis. She often stays bare face or just a soft natural or dewy look. Whenever she actually has plans to go out (rare occurrence) that's when she has fun with it. She goes a bit heavier with some eye shadow, eyeliner, lipgloss, lipstick, glitter etc!
She is also super into skin care, she doesn't miss a beat no matter what she did that night as soon as she gets home she does her skin care routine... That's dedication right there. Scar called her a skincare guru.
Once Gabie was done with her make up she quickly sprayed a little bit of her fancy Tom Ford Lost Cherry perfume that Scarlett got her for her birthday a few months ago. She is obsessed with this perfume and she tries to wear it exclusively on special occasions because it is so ridiculously expensive, but on days when she feels like shit she still puts it on.
'Hopefully Scar will get me a new bottle on my next birthday'. She made herself laugh out loud by her thought because she didn't really mean it. Scar spoils her a lot but Gabie doesn't like receiving gifts at all she always feels super awkward. Whenever someone gets her a gift, she doesn't know how to react and she feels bad that someone went out of their way to get her something. She loves giving gifts though.
