"I think I found the theme for my class this year!" Gabie exclaimed. She was on FaceTime with Scarlett, as usual.
"Finally! Please tell me it's not like Harry Potter or something nerdy like that." Scarlett said, knowing her friend way to well.
"Uh excuse me, Harry Potter would be a fantastic theme actually... but no my theme will be pretty simple but I think it'll work... Everything rainbow!" Gabie said excitedly.
"Hmm, wait I think that could actually be really fun!" Scarlett said.
"Duh! Kids love that shit they always want rainbow everything and like, the walls of the classroom are white so colours won't hurt! I have a vision, I'm gonna hang things from the ceiling and on the wall, I'll have colourful pillows in the reading nook... It's going to be so cute!" Gabie was very invested and couldn't wait to start decorating.
"Yeah I can't wait to see it! I could maybe even come help you decorate a little next time I'm in LA." Scarlett offered kindly.
"Yeah about that, when is the next time you think you could come here?"
"Pretty soon, Chris wants to come too, in the second week of August!"
The two friends got really excited about the next time they could be able to see each other. Even if they talked almost everyday, they missed each other a lot.
"So, when's the next time you're seeing Seb hmmm?" Scarlett asked
"I don't know, I guess I could just text him but I'm always scared to bother him. I don't know why." Gabie admitted.
"Ughhhh please stop with that, you know you won't bother him." Scarlett said.
"No but he's like always busy and stuff"
"Oh believe me he'll cancel all his plans if you tell him you want to see him."
Gabie knew Scarlett was probably right but that's what scared her a little. It was so typical for men to be so into and then the second you give them attention in return, they're not into you anymore. She was just a little septic on how long Seb's crush on her would last.
