July 18th
Two days had passed ever since that dreamy beach night in Malibu that S and G spent together. That night replayed in Gabie's mind over and over again all day long.
She haven't heard from Seb ever since... But she also didn't reach out to him. It's okay though, it's just two days, 48 hours... right? Ugh she hated the way that she was feeling. But she also loved it... The butterflies, the mystery. It's just that, sitting around and waiting for a sign wasn't her favourite kind of thing to do. She was so independent but when it came to Seb, she lost all of her senses.
The date went perfectly in her opinion, she got such a good vibe from him and she really thought it was mutual but maybe she thought wrong. Okay no, let's not fall down the rabbit hole, at least not yet. She knew she was freaking out for no reason. He was probably just settling in. After all, he did just arrive in town a few days ago, there must be a couple of things he needed to do and a couple of people he had to catch up with. It's fine!
And that's exactly what he had been doing. He played amazing golf with his father and spent time with his family. He also worked a little bit more than he was supposed to and he even went to an event last night with a couple of his LA friends, including Anthony. Seb wanted to tell him about Gabie but he didn't. Not yet. If he did, the whole city would end up knowing about it in a matter of minutes. Anthony truly was one of his best friends but he for sure couldn't keep his mouth shut.
The event turned out to be pretty fun. He didn't go as hard as he normally would but he still managed to have a good time. He did set a couple of goals for himself before the event though. No hard drugs, no sex, no blacking out. Just a normal night out like a normal person. Simple, yet he still managed to fail. He didn't do any pills which was an accomplishment in itself considering the past month... But he did a bunch of cocaine, not much better.
He also ended up fucking a girl in the bathroom of the venue. He really tried to abstain and he wasn't too proud of himself since he had an interest in Gabie but it was physically impossible for him to not have sex for more than a few days... He wanted to take his time with Gabriella so obviously he couldn't fuck her but he was going crazy. The sex with these other girls, it really meant nothing to him... it didn't take anything away from how he felt about Gabie. Maybe it didn't make sense but in his head, it did.
The urge to see her again and spend more time with her was overwhelming. He already knew she wouldn't be the one texting or calling first after their date so he planned on doing so himself, this week. He just needed to get a few things out of the way first, to be able to devote her all of his attention.
